I just want the links on how to root MINI PRO and how to unlock BL.
I searched a lot but i am not getting the correct thread.

A.It is used for function-test during production.
2. What do we use TESTPOINT for ?
A. To unlock our bootloader
3. How do we do it ?
A. we use a special software SETool & We connect our phone's TESTPOINT to ground (-ve)
4. Do we need to dismantle our phone to do this ?
A. nope
5. Where is this testpoint in our phone ?
A it is just above the simcard slot (a bit right-top)(pic in attachments)
6.'Might brick if wrong Point connected to ground' cannot we unbrick our phone again?
A.sure you can (needs SETOOL credits which costs some bucks & an account)
7.Is this method free ?
A.yes it is FREE , you need credits only to repair trim area
8. Does it works on sim locked phones?
A.No cause fastboot will be locked by the carrier
9. How to see if my phone supports bootloader unlocking ?

I unlocked my new phone (neo v)today in order to root my device.
But I found that there's no tools to root it.I tried superoneclick ,z4root and gingerbreak ,but all failed.

yes i've tried them too , it seems the EXPLOIT by which they work has been taken care in android v2.3.4
yeah i am hoping for a method to root my device too

Unlock Neo V may be the same as the Xperia Neo in WotanServer use the same firmware as I have seen on their website
But I'm not sure if the same firmware

I guess as the camera is diff, the libs will cause issues. Will not suggest to take risk.
All the old root methods are not working, looks like all old exploits are closed in 2.3.4. Looking for an exploit to root. Lets see. If anyone already rooted Neo v, please share.
I totally agree that it is a risk and I would not do it because I understand very little about the subject android.
but it is only a guess.
The issue is very large libraries because I do not understand

hey guys , an awesome thread struck my eyes today , it says we can RELOCK our UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
it works on ARC , NEO ... so it will work on NEO V too (i guess )
for people waiting to lock bootloader

Just Dwld,put u r phone in debugging mode and plug it in u r pc and Run the RUNME.bat file.It works perfectly on Neo V and all 2011 xperia models

Lol all I got to do now is unlock the boatloader as mine I can't unlock from what is says on the Sony Ericsson dev site. Mine phone is on T-Mobile any one got any ideas

if you are on t-mobile then your bootloader & fastboot will be locked by your carrier...

Bootloader unlock allowed :YES or NO , IF YES UNLOCKING SUPPORTED IF NO UNLOCKING IS NOT SUPPORTED
If it says NO then you have to buy 5 credits to use a full SETOOL to unlock your bootloader & you fastboot(if it is locked too)

So dude, have you tried to check where I pointed you? I won't give you exact link.
There are not many sticky threads in dev section, and not more than 1 with unlocking BL.
And yes, it does contain information how to relock your BL.
Dude sorry, I was frustrated to find a quick solution to lock my phone. Otherwise i can't go for warranty service. Also the keyword i used was not correct. Any way i got it now, but don't go-away i will come back here if any help needed.

use the official method in http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/ but you will loose the drm keys which are used by stock track id
and you will no be able to use facebook inside xperia or unlock via test points but i think is more dangerous!!!

It is recommended that you unlock the bootloader, Sony actually allows it and it can be done here: http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/48798

I prefer to keep my DRM keys and bravia engine. I do not recommended unlocking it as it is usually the cause of hard brick if you do not follow certain steps correctly.
