so i was browsing around and stumbled upon this beauty. i thought it looked awesome, so i ordered. ill let everyone know when it comes in. i like it because of the slim profile, cool design and for the fact that it covers the delicate camera glass. speaking of that, does anyone know if that part is gorilla class?

I'm just curious whether we can expect a defender series for our device or the international version. The Skyrocket has been on the market less than both devices and already has 3 series of cases in multiple colors. Sort of clear who gets all the accessory love at this point.

I think someone on here asked Otterbox (use search) and they "do not have current plans" to make a Defender for the SII or something like that.
I bought a Seidio Active with holster. Seidio basically said the same thing and do not have any plans on making a Convert for the SII.
Sounds like the Ballistic case is your best bet (see below). I like the way the Otterboxes look though but only the Defender comes with a holster.

Yeah i think i saw the thread you are referring to but the guy only really commented on the belt holster and screen protector both of which i had no interest in. I was thinking about giving one a shot but im definitely going to see if i can get more info/opinions on it. If i get one ill throw up a review with pics.

I love my commuter (I'm glad they came out with the att version), but I'd jump to a defender in a heart beat if they released one.

I would too. I personally don't mind the extra size at all. My Inspire 4G survived a motorcycle crash thanks to a defender case with no damage to the phone and just some scuffs to the silicon on the case. Took a spill between 30-40 with the phone in my pocket.

I was considering this case until i saw the "holster". The "holster" looks like a clasp, and it looks flimsy, its definitely not a style of "holster" I would like to use. Other than the "holster" the case seemed like it woukd have been good.

I'm not a big fan of carrying the phone on my belt. Seems to get hit more that way.
I'm looking forward to the case for the multi-layer construction, and hopefully, the kickstand.

The thing is, is that the kraken ams case comes with so many features... go on their website you can take the kickstand out and put a bike mount, tripod, all this cool stuff! Plus the case and company is alot better than otterbox

Do they offer the same kind of warranty as otterbox? As far as taking a picture of the damaged or broken product and they send you another one.

I feel the same way about the clip, I'd prefer more of an actual clip. Trident's clip looks like a clasp. Looks as if the phone would be wobbly on your waist.
EDIT: I'll just be glad when this comes out, otterbox, or seidio with kickstand and holster comes out. Hopefully one of them rrleases their case soon.

Well, I certainly hope that we do get the Kraken AMS soon. I'm liking that green color a lot.

It will work...at least I'm pretty sure so. When I had international galaxy s2 with home button I putted that otterbox case on my friends att version phone and it worked. Later on otterbox said the same case will work for both. So over here they can not say anything until they try it but it's obvious that both phones are identical (talking about size). So far I'm using crappy silicone case that I got from AT&T but it's a starter kit )

The Seidio clip is pretty beefy. Heavy duty plastic, and mounted to the case with a metal grommet.
