Hi all,
Quick question about the color settings. With some htc devices I use I notice that the dark grey colors are more green grey with the s2.
For example the ics popup windows within the menus.
To be honest, I like the dark grey better than the color with my s2.

is that normal or is there a setting to get the "nicer" colors usm are the colors the same with every rom?

So just took another S2 and put the phones next to each other, and mine is definetly more "green" then the other one. Mine is about a year old, the other one 3 months.
Are the newer ones sold with different screens ?
If you see both screens next to each other, it is a big difference. One has the green glow, the other one is just solid dark grey.

i found a new neon glowing clock which shows date and battery % so i have no need for the status bar at the moment, oh and it comes in green too. woo woo. just updated the show your screen thread showing my new set up.

Download a pure black wallpaper and set it as your wallpaper....

Take a picture with no flash in a pitch black room. It works.
Or just put your hand over the lens when you take the picture. I used such a background on my captivate for months.

i just made a black wallpaper in paint 480x800 or the other way around i forget and e-mailed it to myself to get on my phone.
there is an app called "colors" and it just has endless solid colors for you to make as your background. i've had a straight black screen from early captivate days.

On HTCs Facebook page, they posted an image of the HTC One X in dark and light versions... or at least so it seems at first sight.
But if you look more closely, the phone on the right (dark one) has more edges than the real One X on the left. Also the speaker looks differently than anything I have seen so far.

I love the looks of it and would really consider buying this phone... if it really exists. Anybody any information about this?

Anyone know of a way to get the bar battery where it goes all the way from one side to the other? I used it on a ICS room and wish I had it on the CM10 i am using now.
It's hard to see in this picture, it's the thin blue line all the way at the bottom.
I couldn't see a thing in the picture.
But do you mean a thin line always being shown on the screen indicating battery status? If so, Battery Mix does that. It's free and has many options, it has a statusbar icon as default but it can be disabled.

Yeah, none of the stores here had the black one only white for some reason so I just ordered straight from sprint. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get here, I'm pretty excited.
