Currently on MM team's cyanogen Rom
It's absolute the best
just one problem, some heavy games are installed some are not
.
Won't be switching just want to see what is available for us

Lately I've been searching through MIUI Formus, and I came across a thread for the Optimus One in the MIUI Forums.
This thread is a port of MIUI for the Lg Optimus One, so my question is, would it be really hard for someone to port MIUI for the Optimus V? I would LOVE to do it myself, but I have no programming skills. Anyone would also like to see this ROM in Optimus V?
Its not a miui rom on optimus one, its mainly a cm7 rom with all of the miui apps and Widgets installed, you can download most of them free in the market

No..infact there is someone porting the MIUI rom to optimus one, i just saw it under the "Porting Advice" subforum in the official MIUI forums.
The person porting the rom is just stuck in a certain part of javascript, I have no idea what is failing since I havr no knowledge of programming.
I would provide a link to the forum but I cant since I need 8 posts, and I dont want to spam the forums just to get 8 posts.

miui is pretty cool indeed and from what I hear they use some cyanogen source. What I would suggest for now is to setup a build environment using iho's repository and begin to make it yourself.

That's just a theme right? Yes but what I'm thinking and hoping is that others will port it to their devices and add things to the code and eventually we'll be sitting on an open source miui rom.

Hi it would be amazing just like our phones if someone could provide me with the mi-one miui latest release i can't find it any where and thats the rom that ive decided to use a base so if someone could provide it that would be awesome

welcome man! we need some devs over here in a bad way. i think youre gonna have a tough time tho since we still dont have s-off, but if you can get it to work you would certainly be my hero!!!

We don't have a MIUI rom yet, but hopefully there will be one in the near future.

He's not asking if we have one, he's asking if anyone knows where he can find the mi one MIUI base so he can port it to our phone

No im looking for the Mi-one miui rom aka the flashable zip for the mi one cause i cant find it cause the stopped building it a month or 2 ago in preparation for ics miui for the mi one so if someone could provide me with the mi one flashable zip then that would be awesome

Not a rom just a description of the device
I found the one android version its the stable miui so its 2.3.5 instead of 2.3.7 i'll get to work and if someone could find the developer edition that would be clutch

as the ics update for our fone is out will we be having costum roms for our fone ....... also i would also like to do a bug report about theupdate .... the notification sound doesnt work ........ plzz give me a fix asap ......
Ehm. The update for our lovely Xperia P is not a custom one made by XDA-Developers but by Sony. And if I know Sony right they don't care about XDA-Developers.com So I don't think that they see your bug repport. And second. Our developers has a life like you and me. Some maybe has kids so they aren't sitting all day long on the computer What about YOU fixed the issue instead and released it

I have the same thinking about a lack of developers in Xperia P Forum since its very good terminal and we dont have a thing in rom options.
Hope it wont be of course, because of not sucess model.
I had a Galaxy Ace (lower spec phone), and since come up years ago it has a rom every day. Really desire xperia devs could give a try on this terminal!

I'd prefer a fully working CM and AOKP. And MIUI over a zillion similar custom roms. Samsung phones get a lot of custom roms because their stock FW is pathetic

same here bro had an ace ...... its got jellybean rom also now .... waiting badly for a rom for our device
I Think there is Some Few Dev. at Xperia P.
I have been checking the Xperia sola as a new phone. Sadly there is NO development for this device. Some pre rooted roms are nothing. I would love cm on this device. After that I could port miui myself, as I have done for the wfs. And still gingerbread, wtf?

Seance Xperia P has ICS and is rooted without unlocking bootloader, not need for custom rom! Phone is fast enought with stock rom! If you need customization, use launchers!

Ehm I know I am a bit dumb but I can seem to understand what are the differences between cyanogen 7.2 and 9.1 and what is worse I don't understand if it supports HDMI on my Neo. Can anyone shed some light? ... maybe I should have drunk less yesterday
CM7.2 is based on Gingerbread, whilst CM9 (now CM9.1) is based on Ice Cream Sandwich. As far as HDMI goes, no ROM's that aren't Stock or Stock-based have it working as Sony hasn't released the HDMI sources.

Think there is one cm7 with it never seen thread for months was old Achotjan
I may be wrong like but anyway not really possible on custom ROMs to much try an fail
Use a stock ROM if you need this feature
Personly its pretty bad compares different phones /tabs I near cooked my neo by charging and HDMI out same time

Achotjan's Rom has it working(though i never tested it myself). A search should turn it up. He also said a while back that he would work on a CM9 version. May or may not still be happening.

It's very difficult to get HDMI on non stock based ROMS because Sony doesn't release sources. So it's highly unlikely we will ever see it.

Check the DEV threads for the CHAOS ROM. Close to MIUI right now
I tried that ROM but it seems so (sorry for my lang) lame..

Unfortunately that may be as close as we get for now. I remember someone saying in another thread that there isn't even a MIUI for the Nexus 4 yet...

I've been thinking about giving it a shot. Use to port it for other phones in the past. The Nexus 4 Miui should be released at the end of the month so that might make it easier.

Miui is custom rom just like cyanogen mod serving many handsets...
I guess MiUI represents to Minimalistic User Interface ROM
Actually just like Cyanogen Mod Roms , MiUi roms are also quite famous and have variety of handset support...
Google Miui Rom for more info.
I'm trying to port miui but so far only boot loops and now test phone is acting up still have a few zips to test
