Kernel Version : 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #2
Build Number:GINGERBREAD.XXLA1
I want to root it so i search this link for the appropriate original kernel supported by my phone but did not find it
PS: i downloaded and installed Kies & Odin3 v1.85 but i need a kernel to proceed with the rooting procedure
HELP PLEASE !!

Can any one guide me how to root this model. I have found a very long thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399 but I cannot find a relevant CF-Root file for my model.
Appreciate help, if some one is there to guide me.

Unlocked and upgraded to v 4.3.5 with rom I9100 and not I9100P !!!.:crying:
NOW when typing *#1234# I get

Yes you can flash it but since you don't really understand how to flash it, I'll advise you to:
1. wait for Samsung to update your phone, or
2. Visit Samsung service center and ask them to upgrade your phone to latest ICS firmware.
Those two options above are safer for you as a beginner

as ur build is JPLPF in which The LPF is what is important and u have to choose a CF root matching this(LPF).
it is CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXI_LPF-v5.5-CWM5.zip
which u can find in the link below, under the heading 'ICS - CF-Root v5.5/6'
