Im more worried cause some peoples do say 2-3 week delay on status of the order but hopefully those who ordered fastest will get it on time I hear amazon is back ordered as well

I think this indicates that Sprint sold a lot.more phones than anticipated and had to cut wirefly short to meet their own obligation. Wirefly orderers should have been concerned when they hit the order button but they should especially be concerned about the s 4 shortage.

I was able to put my office address in for the shipping address.
Oh well, I guess it will go to my mother's. I never updated my address since I moved and she's always home. Quick drive on Wed (I hope) and it should be all good.
I ordered 2. One for my dad and myself. I hope to god it gets here before Friday since I will not be home at Friday but at the airport picking up my dad. Crosses fingers.

Site is down, seems like this little phone is a bit popular
I have $75 in Radio Shack coupons and gift cards and I really can't think of anything but this phone that I want from there. Still the thought of getting it a couple days early is making me seriously consider saying screw it and ordering from Sprint anyway.
I've gotten phones sent from Sprint before and they are always overnighted so anyone who orders should get them Wednesday.

Just checked, New-egg.com US website still showing ETA of 12/27- They are a major electronics e-tailer here in the US, so I am "cautiously optimistic" that something may change and they receive stock and ship at or around the same time as Best-Buy on 12/18. They haven't sent any e-mails or any updates since they changed the original ship date from 12/8 to 12/27..... Just a ray of hope is all I have left to cling to..... what has become of me??? I ask myself- will my prime ever arrive to save the day???

Given that Newegg posted the 12/27 ETA over a week ago when it seemed that no retailer had any idea when they'd be arriving, I don't see how the date could be set in stone. It's unfortunate that no one at customer service has any idea what's going on, but since I haven't heard that date from any other seller, I'm assuming it's pretty meaningless. Just wish I knew whether there's any chance we'll get them before Xmas.

Good news all, Verizon is going to ship out the pre-orders tomorrow. I was on the phone with one of the rep and they said it will ship tomorrow and that my credit card will be changed either tonight or tomorrow morning. An hour later I checked my bank account and what do you know they changed my credit card already. Well as I always say it's about time!

Normally they do for phone shipments as it's an insured shipment. Some Fedex drivers will let someone else sign if they know the people in the household.
Leave a note(no pun intended) for the driver with the tracking number, your name and signature, never had a problem. They take the note and leave my package.
