I am having trouble in viewing the Flash Videos through Browser in Full screen. When you play full screen, it becomes white with only sound in the background.
I am on CM9 official Nightlies. Any one know of any fix?
Works fine in ics browser+ desktop mode.

HI, i recently installed rom starburst and also overclocked the cpu.. but i noticed viewing the pictures on the photo gallery seems pixelated, i have to zoom in and zoom out for it to produce a clear image... somehow the system can't simply produce a clear image from the get go.. seems sad since it has a very powerful res built in on it..
is there a fix for this? does anyone else have the same problem?
I've got the same problem...
Images are low-res on opening. If you zoom in and out again, they become hi-res.
Moving the picture just a little to the side and back again also turns them hi-res.
People suggest downloading QuickPic, but this app has a different problem: moiré patterns (which don't occur in the original gallery app.)
Right now I can't decently watch hi-res pictures that are imported on my galaxy tab 10.1, and that's a real bummer...
I have a Galaxy S 2 phone that doesn't have this problem, so it may be a bug in the honeycomb gallery.
I'll try to be brief.
For starters, I dislike the auto rotate feature on this phone. Lately, I've been doing a lot of flashing looking for the perfect ROM (elusive I know). CM7 is pretty good but it, along with other great ROMS, will not play any videos I have taken in landscape or in portrait in anything other than portrait. Landscape video is distorted and half blue. I know what your thinking, just turn on the damn auto rotate. Well two things, I hate it and other ROMS play videos however they are best suited. Why the difference? Is it an easy fix, build prop perhaps? I hope it is because uber BAMF is perfect otherwise. Thanks in advance guys.
Hi everybody,
I have the official MHL -> HDMI (Tv out) for my SGS2.
I sometimes used it to watch movie on my television, it worked very well (with the 2.3.5 Gingerbread version).
(It doesn't work with ICS AOKP)
Now I'm on JB AOKP ROM (TV out works only for video, you can't see ont the TV the launcher, browse the phone,... (it's ok on the phone) but video with MX Player works on the TV).
When I try to watch a portrait video I have made, the video is rotated like it was a landscape video. (I have to turn the head )
Today, I have try the new JB Samsung ROM and I try to watch some video (recorded in landscape and in portrait mode) that I made with JB AOKP Rom and JB Samsung Rom.
I have an other problem.. A video in portrait mode is stretched like it is a landscape video. (People on the video look fat )
It's strange because with the JB Samsung Rom the TV out is fully working : you can write messages, browse the launcher and some apps in portrait mode and on the TV, the portrait mode is respected. But it's going wrong with a video in portait mode (recorded with AOKP or Samsung ROM)
Did someone notice the same problem ?
I think that I can remember myself that on gingerbread, the video in portrait mode were correctly played in portrait mode with the TV out... =/
Is it a problem with the MHL TV out or a problem in the video encoding ?
Post yours experiments
Have CM10 installed and noticed that YouTube app displays the video a little too large and it covers up the time / progress bar while viewing videos on my phone. Is there a setting to scale the video down just a bit?
On all 4.0 stock ROMs for the Mediapad i can use the TV, which I connected with HDMI, as a secondary screen and turn off the tablet screen seperately. The image is outputted in 1080p as my display shows me and when Android detects video, like Youtube, another videoplayer or even on Flash Player it automatically removes the navbar and the black bar on the sides because of the 16:10 format of the tablet.
But on the CM and AOKP custom roms with Jelly Bean this functionality apparently was removed. :/ It's cool that there is even an image output on HDMI (thanks to the dev^^), because for a long time the output on CM was quite buggy. But because it's always outputted on 720p with black bars on the sides and when i play video it doesn't switches in fullscreen, as it did in ICS, the HDMI output is quite useless for me.
Is there any possibility to add those functions back, change the hdmi resolution or just maybe readd the automatic fullscreen switch for videos?
I already searched and looked through many threads and it looks like the ASUS Transformer Pads also got this problem with the Jelly Bean 4.2 update and the Nexus 10 got the same problem. I found an this script for the Nexus 10 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2278508) and tried it, but it just messed up my UI, so I had to wipe, and didn't even changed the HDMI output resolution. I also found these two apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.forbitel.screensettings&hl=de and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2300248), but I really don't know if they're gonna work, because even if it says in the description of the "Screen Settings" app, that it's for devices with screens larger than 4.5 inch, it looks like they're intented for the Nexus 10 and I really don't want to mess up my UI again, just to wipe install everything one more time
