[Q] Possible to record video at 60fps? - HTC Amaze 4G

Hey guys, been using CapRomCe and o noticed you can record slo mo video with the modded camera app it includes, when recording, it seems very very smooth, so I assume it records at 60fps and then slows it down to give the slo mo effect. So, can one record normal video at 60fps?

[Q] highest video resolution

Hi quick question, what is the highest resolution for video recording? I can do 720p, but the phone crashes on 1080p. I have the camera hack apk as well. Is that the reason why it crashes? Thanks.
Vibrant hardware is capable only upto 720p video recording. If you are using some software hack to do 1080p, I guess it just won't work.

fix 17fps video recording

Anyone ever record a video and notice at 1080p it records at only 17fps.
Wasn't this phone advertised to do 30fps video recording?

60fps recording with audio?

Hey there, i was using AICP rom, and installed Moto Camera. It allows me to record in slowmotion, but for some reason the slowmotion doesn't work, it records in 60fps but without audio... and that makes me question something... This framerate can be added when you record a video normally? I mean, is there an option or mod, or something to change to make the 60fps recording work when you record a normal video?
Have u given permission to app to use mic?

Yes, the thing here is:
When i record in normal mode, records with audio and everything but in 30fps.
When i record in slow motion mode, records without audio (it's normal) but in 60fps
and i was thinking, if supports recording on 60fps, there's a way to add it into the normal recording?
Sorry bro..I don't know. I solved the problem just by giving permission.
Is that true 60fps? Move your video to pc and check it on VLC if it's really 60fps. I did once but it was 30fps l, showing in the VLC media player.
Also I don't think there's any mod to record 60fps in normal mode.
About the audio, they doesn't seems to get recorded in the slow-mo videos :/

G5 720p 60fps, 1080p 60fps shooting video

All,
Has there been any dev development mod for shooting video in 60fps mode. The G5 is lacking 60fps mode in 720p, 1080p which is locked in at 30fps. Since the G3, G4, V10 can all now shoot and record video in 60fps it would be nice to have this on the G5.
Once root is working this mod will come soon after

Well root is already working just fine if u have an H850...
Has anyone gotten the 60fps video recording to work? I heard the G4 camera app APK can enable 60fps working. I hope someone tries that out.
If you just need 60fps, you can either use Fluence patch, or install V10 apk, or install the mod that just adds 60fps to the stock camera:

Galaxy A5 2017 4k recording with opencamera vs stock video camera

I read somewhere here that you can record 4k with open camera the resolution of the video is 3264 x 1836 which is 4k but youtube does not show 4k option.
The video recorded with opencamera looks way better than the stock Samsung video recording .So is smasung playing tricks with us?
New video this time 100mbs bitrate
How did you do it? I don't know how I have to configure the Opencamera's app to record in 4K.
Thank you very much!

You enable camera2 API and you change the resolution to highest and you can also change the video/audio bitrate you can experiment yourself .But Don't know if there is a difference between 1080p high bitrate vs 4k high bitrate to be honest haven't test it
wtf 4k video?
is 120 fps 1080p or 60 fps 1080p possible? btw I'm on a7 2017 but that shouldn't make much of a difference
