[Q] Enchance image quality of r neo/v like in one v - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hey ppl lyk bravia engine n xloud r ported to non sony smartphones den can the imagesence of htc one can b ported to r neo/v
Or atleast the quality of the image taken from are neo/v can b super enhanced in custom roms
Sent from my MT11i using XDA

imagesence isnt software, its hardware ability (someone correct me if im wrong). its the new fancy name for the htc custom camera sensor (same thing did sony with Exmor R, the name is fancy, while pretty much all new phones got that technology called BSI-backside illumination sensor)

Ok thanxx

[Q] Possible to port arc camera to x10?

Since the XperiaX10 will be getting gingerbread, and they released the statement that it will use the android camera, I was wondering if it would be possible to port the arc's camera to the x10??
Maybe the layout...but it wont make our camera any better since we dont have the exmor r sensor in it.

Xperia U or Xperia Ray

hello guys

since my last phone ruined RIP moto K1 ,, i rly wanna try android and i cant find better than sony ( best camera and best design )

so now i am confused coz both are awesome both have cons ! .
so wat do u think guess ,, PS i dont care about 4G storage in U coz i guess its fine for me .
is any one try both and if any one which one u recommend ??
sorry for my english

If it just by the looks, I would pick Xperia Ray.
Other than that, Xperia U has a bigger screen, better hardware, better battery life (according to official, usually inflated, figures), and it is also a newer release, meaning that it has better posibilities of getting JB or further updates. The downside is its limited storage, but since you don't care, it's fine.
Camera is basic on both phones. Ray features a 8.1mp camera, meanwhile the U features a 5.0mp camera. But those numbers alone don't mean much.
Although I own Xperia ray, I recommend you to buy Xperia U if you fine with 4GB storage. Dual core phone has become trend nowaday. I also will move to Xperia 2012 phone.

If you r ok with 4 gb storage then go for Xperia U..i see the Xperia U better on all sides except for memory and camera....i was not cool with 4gb storage so I went with Xperia P.. And I think the camera on Xperia Ray is better than Xperia U...
But hey it's all up to the users needs..if you think you need performance then go for XU... If you think you need big storage and better camera go for Ray...
Decision is yours to make...

Xperia U has 4gb for user data and 2gb for apps, so 6gb total usable space. If you can wait for ics or get a bl unlockable xperia u then its a great little device. Minimal lag with most tasks, very clear, vivid and sharp screen and good with multitasking. I just wish I could unlock bl and customise.

if you like custom roms you might go better with Ray, but the U has more power and might even get official JB from Sony. I'm also pretty sure that the FXP team will soon release CM for U.
To sum things up: I would go for U. I can also recommend the Xperia P, I own one by myself. The display and sound is awesome.

Better XU! Xray screen is too narrow (3,2 inch). Very not comfortable.
XU has dualcore processor!
XU has crisper screen than ray
XU has better GPU than ray
XU has larger screen than ray
XU's design is more cool than ray
etc..
But Xperia ray has better camera (8 MP with Exmor R sensor) than XU! and xperia ray has slim body than XU.
Sorry for my bad english

Porting Roms

hi friends .
Why developers dont try to port xperia z rom(itself without theming or...) Or xperia T rom (itself without theming or...) ? IS it easy ?
If i wanna do it , I have to port xperia z applicaticons one by one ?
porting an aplication is like porting roms ?
-------------------------------------------------------------
and why dont developers port sensation rom for xperia 2011 . one of developers did this but that project forgeted early !
please answer completely ! maybe we can see our devices run xperia z official rom ported to our devices ! :highfive:

It would be easy to port it. But it would be only avalible for unlocked bootloader. The Xperia Z got a fast CPU , so i think the Z Stock Rom would be laggy.
I booted up Sense4.0 on neo v.. Htc one v stock rom.. WIP.. Its not so easy dude as you think it is.. Porting Xperia Z to neo v? Its like putting up Ferrari engine into your motorbike Afaik Its NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE..
Be happy in what you got.. Great ppl like Mike, already doing the best they can for us..

Each phone has limited hardware and so you can run only limited apps.
All the new Xperia phones have dual or quad core processors and 1-2 GB ram which is twice-four times more powerful than our old aged devices.
We can port Xperia Z/ZU roms for our phone but then we have to compromise with the performance that we don't want.
So bro be happy with what you have.

Maybe he only use it private , i mean only for him.
We got a launcher and a lockscreen ported , and we can enable/disable On-Screen-Buttons , so why do you like the Z stock one so much?

It has bugs.. Many.. As I said porting isnt easy and more over wen its from different manufacturer.. All devs are busy, I don't think anyone will help solving those sense bugs

Hi there, @ mosi.sh asked me to be here said, so
I'll say this of himself:
Everything is going to port and get to the highest degree, but you have to spend a lot of time and desire
Not everyone has the time. Doing a port rom you have to remember that we developers have also written other roms for different devices.
What can someone do roms on a number of bugs and lack of updates previous roms grow.
I do what I can to get far the best result in my roms.
However, if you get the highest degree of stability in my roms that I gladly take up a port from Xperia 2013

grand quattro vs xperia l

Hi all, i wanted to buy a phone for myself and i am confused between these two phones. Both look great on paper with great specs. Can some one help me in choosing one?
Any suggestion would be appreciated(or any other alternative?)
Thanks
Camera of xperia l is not upto the the mark as shown 8mp.... I have compared photos with my quattro nd xperia l....... at low light there is much noise in xperia l photos even after using the flash..........its 8 mp is just similar to 5 mp ...
But xperia l is upgradable to 4.2.2
