Hey guys!
I´ve got a problem. I have a HTC HD2 which had WinMo before. Long time ago I changed it to Android. Couple of days ago, I wanted to change to a new Android version so I deleted the whole OS on my Android to install a new one.
I got stuck on the Magdlr option because I couldn´t go select any option. I realized then, that my call button is broken!
Do you have any Idea, how it is possible to install Android, because WinMo sucks!!

If you look closely, you will notice the thread is 2 years old. Pretty sure a Q&A sub forum didn't even exist back then.

Well as you have posted in the 10.1v forums I'm going to assume that you had to root and unlock the bootloader in order to even I install the TW rom.
If you don't have a 10.1v then I'm afraid this is the wrong section to be looking for help in.

Hi everyone i am new to this site and rooting i downloaded an app on my phone from 4share the other day called z4 mod only because i was looking for a way to share my internet from my phone to my laptop using wireless tether i am very new to rooting and the phone i am using is called the htc hero i know its an old phone and all but im waiting on my contract to be up to get another phone anyways i was trying to get information on how to install a custom rom to my phone ive only had one update from my carrier and that is android 2.1 i really like the hero and just wanted to stay updated on current versions of android when i was looking around on the internet and i installed a few other apps like superuser titanium backup rom manager and set cpu but i have not fully messed with them yet because i really dont know what im doing with them so if there is any help on helping me install a new rom to my device thanks

Hey there,
I just upgraded to ICS on my SGS2. Everything's nice, except the GMail app (4.28776) that comes with the new Android version. You might feel different, but for me it is using space inefficiently compared to the former version.
So can you tell me if there's a way to replace the new version with the old? I already tried to restore an old backup with Titanium backup, it works a few minutes but does not seem to be stable. After a forced reboot i am back to 4.28776 - although i am rooted.
So in worst case i will have to go back to Gingerbread

I`ve just unlock boot, took a root-acess and intal the ROM from the title.
I haven`t 10 messages, thats whay I write here, not in topic, belongs to ROM Sorry, if I have mistake in posting this theme in forum, and for my bad English also
And the questions are:
1. I haven`t any music player on it))) Even the stock. Only I have this problem?
2. if I`ll want to change launcher, should I do it from recovery, how I used it to install ROM the first time?

I suggest you ask the question in your phones Q&A and not the XDA general section. You will get responses from members that use that phone.
Also ALL question threads should be posted in a Q&A section not a general, as per the XDA rules
