I have never owned a samsung, but i presume people already using the S2 would be able to answer this.
on the HTC, you could add extra languages and change them with a designated button on the qwerty keyboard. I have seen photos of the SGS3 qwerty with a 'settings' button on the bottom right.
Does that mean that in order to change from a language to another you have to press more than one buttons while typing? Or is there an easy way to flick through languages?
thanks

Alright, I HATE Swype, and basically all keyboards under WinMo except for the default full QWERTY. I hit the stupid keyboard open/close button ALL THE TIME when trying to hit the space bar, and I am tired of it. Is there any way to completely remove or otherwise disable this button? Thanks to anyone who can help.
I too am very frustrated when I just want to hide the keyboard and instead a popup appears to choose form other keyboard types :-/
Is it possible to only use the QWERTY keyboard without any other to choose from?
Or Just assign only show/hide keyboard function to that button...
I got used to touch the button on the left side, but anyway I would love to disable this feature as well.
Hi.
When you use more of one language you can change keyboard language by a slide on the backspace button.
Do you know a library which give a button which can select something by a slide?
Thanks
Anyone know what the globe key next to the punctuation key is supposed to do on the on screen keyboard?

Hi,
I have Swype keybord with only period key on my SGS3, so when i want to write comma, I must long press period key, this is very annoying (picture 1). On my old SGS2 was Swype keyboard with two separate keys, one for comma and one for period (picture 2). Is here any way to enable two separate keys for comma and period on SGS3? Swype language is CZECH (QWERTZ). Thanx and sorry for my poor english.
You don't have the swype keyboard. You have the Samsung keyboard with some swype features built in.
I too miss the extra characters and the arrow keys stuff you have in swype, so have installed the beta. But it now does have an issue with being shorter in height than the standard keyboards, by about one third.
If you install the beta, once activated it may show on screen the first time really really small; just flip to landscape then back to portrait and it will be better.
hi, can someone recommend me a keyboard similar to the google keyboard but that when you hold the m button it changes to the ?
i really like how simple and big the letters are. i found smart keyboard but when you hold the n it dont change it to the ñ like the google keyboard. you have to choose between 3 letter so thats an extra step.
