Is your phone rooted just reset it

Thanks guys...
1. flashing again won't solve it, I have to update all my apps again...and reorganize stuffs.
2. yes my phone is rooted, but resetting won't help as I deleted the clock apps from titanium already.
3. the last apps above did not install.....
If nothing else, I'll just wait for ICS to come out and update. I appreciate your replies guys

System app won't let you install. You have to copy to your system\app folder by using Root Explorer/other file manager app and set rw r r permission then reboot the phone. It now should be there

Yikes hopefully he or she doesn't fire you. Just kidding I believe you need to push the samsung messaging .apk with adb.
P. S. Be prepared to get attacked for posting in the wrong section

With Root explorer you'd move the Samsung .apk into /system/app

[Q] Deleted wrong apk

I accidentally deleted clock (not the widget) but ClockPackage.apk. Now when I try to reinstall it, it won't work, saying that app not installed . Is there something special that has to be done to get this work? Thnx in advance

If your not rooted just flash the rom you are using again and all will be stock normal again If your rooted use root explorer and get the file you deleted from a custom rom and paste it back
I would go for the first option as its easier

do you have the rom you flashed on your computer? If so navigate to system/app and copy the clockpackage.apk to your sdcard, then go to system/app in root explorer mount your system and copy and past the file back to system/app)

Forgive the noobiness as well here. I somehow managed to remove one of the clock WIDGETS that displayed time battery life and weather (the ONLY one that has the battery life bar go figure) thinking it was the accuweather widget. Now I can't get it back ... ?

Omega rom question...Please help!!

Hi,
I'm posting this question here in the hopes that someone will be kind enough to help me since I don't have the post count to post in the development section.
I installed the omega ROM and really like it but I need the Email.apk that is not included in this ROM. When I copy the Email.apk from other 2.3.6 stock based ROMs the app constantly FCs. Does anybody have an Email.apk and/or Email.odex that will work with this ROM.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers!!
Should i suggest a thing?
First backup your system.then go flash any rom which has that that email.apk.
Then open titanihm backup and backup the email app. Then go to cwm recovery and restore omega rom and then restore the app again via titanium backup. This shud work
. If it doesnt work then tell me. I will upload the email apk.

Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion but it still FCs as soon as the phone powers up.
I think it's because the omega rom is odexed and all the 2.3.6 based roms that I have are deodexed.
When I look at the /system/app directory all system apps have an .apk and a corresponding .odex file of each application.
If you have a 2.3.6 odex version of Email.apk I would really appreciate it if you could upload it.
Thanks for your help!!
Here you go
This should work just flash via CMW5

Did you extract the files on your computer first and then add them to system/app?
Did you reboot your phone after putting the files there?

[Q] Weather widget gone after JB update! (I9300XXDLIH) - SOLVED!

So I received the OTA update today and installed it.
Everything works great but the weather widget is gone from the home screen. It is missing from the widgets list as well!
I searched in /system/app and there are 3 Accuweather apks and odex in there.
I'm on stock unrooted rom.
Is there a way to get the widget back without resetting??
-- Update --
I have solved this by removing the accuweather widget APKs from /system/app, restarted the phone, put them back, fixed permissions and restarted again!

Try installing it like a normal APK, if it does not work, then you may have to be rooted so you could push it to the system

OK I am going to root anyway but the APKs are in /system/app anyway so why should I push them again? should I override them?

I take it you're on a deodexed ROM. In that case, check if you have any .odex files in system/apps. If yes, delete them. That should do the trick

im on CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly-i9300 and i looked in system/app and found no "odex" files only "apk"s and i have plenty of storage left so thats not the problem, i restored to LiquidSmooth rom and the problem has gone but the issue with LiquidSmooth is the bloutooth crashes all the time so i want to be CyanogenMod if u some one could come up with a solution for this
if your device is rooted, install lucky patcher... it will automatically remove .odex files and you will be able to install that particular app
