Bootanimation
MetroStyle Animation
Hello Galaxy 3 users,
I came across this bootanimation by XiproX in the general Themes section and I decided to port the "Android" and the "Cyanogenmod 7" version to the Galaxy 3's resolution
Hope you like it

Android version - like on the preview
Don't flash this through recovery! Put this .zip on your SD card rename it to "bootanimation.zip" and paste it in /system/media
Cyanogenmod 7 version - same as preview, but with "Cyanogenmod 7" text instead of "Android"
Put this .zip on your SD card rename it to "bootanimation.zip" and paste it in /system/media
Credits go to XiproX for this beautifull little animation
I was making the same but i had those pesky white screens in the middle. So nice work!! BTW Can you port the one with "Cyanogenmod" text.

Sure!
Btw: Did you get the white screens on Gingerbread? I didn't test it yet, they could still be there... :/
Edit: Tested, no white flashes on this one, probably because it is a jpg sequence instead of a png one. Not sure.
nice one, buddy

Maby someone could port these: https://market.android.com/developer?pub=Chainfire or the old bios bootscreen?
The 2nd one ist awesome. Thank you!!
I'm loving it, especially the second one ! Keep porting these awesome animations
Animations are really good. Obviously the latter is the best.
The second one is so darn good!
here`s the leaked bootanimation from Nexus Prime, i just made the cwm zip and edited the desc.txt to the wildfire res, enjoy ;]
Make a Nandroid Backup first
how to:
AOSP: copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media, or use the cwm zip and flash it via recovery
Sense: copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/customize/resource
preview:

Samsung Galaxy 5 res is the same as Wildfire, so, is it safe to use it me?

if the path is the same system/media, it should be but make nandroid backup first just to be safe ;]
Can you fix the preview please?
why? whats wrong whit it?
It's not loading here for some reason...
EDIT - NVM, it was FF acting up for some reason.
Super sweet. I like it!!!
Thanks for sharing. Its very nice.
no problem
It works really smoothly, thanks Way better than the CM7 ones and several million times better than the Stock HTC one
It's a really nice bootanimation. To bad it can't run as fast as it does on other high speed phones.
Niiiiiiiiice!

What do you mean as fast? When I boot after the boot screen it's a bit laggy but then it runs smoothly...I can't compare to faster phones, do you mean like running at 30fps?
its running at 24 but if you want to change it to 30 edit the desc file from 24p to 30p
Hi Darkstep......I tried both the way by coping to system/media & flashing but it didn't worked
I am using wildfire with Rempuzzle. Please help
the path for sense roms is /system/customize/resource
Thank a lot... It worked.... it's awesome...
Great work buddy!!!

Woah, thats a pretty nice boot animation
just a normal install zip though cwm right?
Not a flashable file...
added new cwm version
Hi
Beautiful work, thanks.....
Just flashed the Boot animation with CWM and it works perfectly.
(By the way, does anyone know what happened to the other CM9 Boot animation that was posted here some days ago?)
Send from my pimped GT-P7500 running on ICS
Awesome work so fresh so clean thanks

I agree, very clean boot animation. Completes the CM9 feel so far.
can anyone upload this in mediafire? Thanks in advance
Mediafire mirrior added
thanks for the awesome boot animation. i love it. thanks for the mediafire link.
Does this work with aokp?
Thanks.
I have not tried AOKP, but should work with any custom ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or 10.1v that load the animation from "/system/media" path
It's work well in AOKP.
thank you so much
great idea
I really liked this...
Move the boot animation to /data/local/ for it to be more permanent between nightly flashes of CM9.
Thank You! Very cool animation
i love it, thanks
Definitely sexy.
Thank you!
Working great on AOKP build 36.
Very nice and clean animation artziel.
I hope you don't mind, I like your bootanimation so much I added a SketchUp 3D CM9 logo with spinning ring to it.

I've repackaged my tweaked version into your cwm flashable package. It's downloadable from here http://goo.gl/II435
I've tested it on my GTab10.1 running Task14 and it looks great.
What do you think?
This is the Official Cyanognmod 9 BootAnimation which I optimized for XPERIA X8

I have edited the link with the highest quality version I could find!!!
Thanks, Can you port it to X10 Mini ?
Great! I want to try this, but is this working on modded FroyoRoms for X8?
Add more information on the first post???? Will you??? Flash xrec or Cwm???....
3 things :
1) good job m8
2) could you move the cyanogen logo a little bit down ? Like right in the middle...like our cm7 bootlogo
3) could you make the begining animation (before the explosion and cm9 words) shorter ? Cuz now by the time the explosion part starts playing, the phone vibrates and shows the home screen (cant see the cm9 part )
Im not demanding you fix it. Im actually glad someone has done this

You can get it on the middle BUT this will make CyanogenMod9 cut.
What I mean is the number 9 itself will be cut. You can get it here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1511501
320x480 Cut (Cut version. I didn't tried this before.)
320x480 Cut @60fps (Cut version. I think it is smoother because it is 60fps.)
320x480 (This is stretched. The rotating arrow is not circle.)

Official Bootanimation
Here is the NEW official one --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1701632

got it from here: http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/01/18/jelly-bean-xperia-boot-animation-available-to-download/
then modified the desc.txt it to fit our screen and removed the "XPERIA" screen from the boot animation, so its just the animated part (reduced the file size somewhat by doing this).
download the file HERE
rename it to bootanimation.zip
place in data/local
reboot and enjoy
Preview (note that the images were degraded to create the gif, will run smoother and look better on your screen)
