[Q] Bricked Flyer? - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

I have a US Wifi Flyer that was running XK Project CM7.2. Everything was working fine. I had it turned on and plugged in to charge overnight. Woke up in the morning and it would not turn on. The green led on the top of the power button is lit. If I hold it down for about 10 seconds it turns orange for a second then back to green. It will not reboot, will not go into recovery mode. If i connect it to my pc, it appears in device manager as qhsusb_dload and has a yellow question mark next to it. Windows is not able to locate drivers for it. It also cannot be detected with adb. I would appreciate any advice you folks could give to help me out.
EDIT: I fixed the problem by opening up my flyer using the guide on this forum. I disconnected the battery, pushed and held the power button for a few seconds, then released it and reconnected the battery. Pushed the power button and it booted up like normal. Hope this helps somebody else.

Helps me! Today my flyer turn him self off, and whont start it, just blink red light after 10 sec. pressd power botton....and nothing. Now everything its OK

good info...thanks

I pressed the vol up and down at the same time. My tablet then made 5 vibrations blinked the yellow light once. Now it will not turn on. Does anybody know how to wake this up again? I hope I didn't brick it. It was turning itself off at will. Sometimes during the boot, sometimes after 10 minutes. But most often it would only stay on for 2 or 3 minutes and then just shut down. One time it said battery was low. I have charged it so that my battery is full, and I am stumped. What needs to be done to get it working again?
What did you do to it prior
Sent from my HTC Flyer P510e using xda premium
Ok, so here's another question. If it won't turn on , how do you know the battery is charged? Have you tried to access it via ADB?
HTC
I sent this in to HTC, they said no warranty because it has revolutionary on it.
I am the second owner of the tablet. I would like to return it to original if that is possible. I have not tried ADB. When I connect the tablet to the computer via USB I do not even hear the connection note I used to hear. So I think when I hit both up and down volume I put it into a deep sleep. Or like I said it is frozen or bricked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I think this is going to be a really tough one.
It just responded again!
I just got it to vibrate 5 times again now I have it plugged into a wall charger and have a green steady light. I am going to leave it alone and hope someone can help me from this point. It has not done a thing for 2 days so this is really good news, maybe there is hope.

Now, press and hold volume down and then hit power. This should bring you to HBoot.
It does not do anything
I pressed the power button held in for 10 seconds and then held the vol down button and then pressed the power. Nothing at all. Plugged the power back in and the led was orange for about 2 seconds and then went out.

[Q] Need help, HTC One M7 won't turn on, green LED flashing

I have a M7 that's been running CM 11 for a couple weeks now. Went to bed last night with the phone charging, playing podcasts. When I woke up, the phone is non responsive, won't turn on, only sign of life is a green LED flashing constantly about once a second. The red charging LED won't come on when the phone is plugged into the wall. When plugged into a PC, the PC doesn't recognize that there's anything plugged in.
I've tried power+vol down, and same button combo with a bright light next to the proximity sensor, to no effect. Any help is appreciated.

you ever figure this out ?
you can hold power plus volume up for 20 seconds thats a hard reboot
then try power plus volume down to enter the bootloader
It must have gotten into some kind of hard lock. I let it sit until the battery ran out, charged it up for a few hours, and turned it back on like nothing had happened.

One X+ red led when turned off

I got a brand new One X+ yesterday, and have it unlocked, rooted with ARHD room.
however, when turned off, it wont charge, and if i remove the charger the LED is still red and it stays on. To turn the device on i have to hold the power button 10-15 seconds to get it to start.
It charge fine when turned on in android and the LED turnes green when 100%.
I can add that when plugging the power in when its off, i can see the red led flashes for a split second after maybe 4-5sec. And the phone vibrates when i touch the touchbuttons even if its off
Any idea?
I have the same problem!!!

Sony Xperia Z Ultra gpe wont charge or turn on. HELP PLEASE!

I left the phone charging. Stepped outside and came back. Found my phone completely dead. It wont turn on or charge. I tried a few method I found online. It doesnt work. The only thing that shows signs of life. Is when I hold the power and up button and plug in the charging usb while still holding the button. Red light blinks. But once I let go of the buttons back to dead. Please help of anybody know to fix this.
Anybody?
Did you completely discharge the battery (0%) before you plugged in the charger? If so, that's a dangerous game to play. Keep it charging for about 24 hours and then try to boot it.
Left it charging for a couple of days now nothing. Every time I plug in the the charge the red light comes on and then off. Blah I guess it's time to move on.

Just to check, but you're not able to go into fastboot, correct? (hold VOL UP when you connect it to your computer, and a blue LED goes on)

Multiple charging issues, charging light stays green, reset not working

My wife has a Z4 LTE tablet she bought a little over a year ago that has been working great until the past 24 hours. She was using it as the battery was drawing near zero, but instead of it throwing the normal warning at 5% battery life it just shut down on her. She plugged it in to charge, and 15 hours later it wasn't turning on.
Here's what we've tried:
* Removing the SIM card and the SD card, disconnecting the USB charging cable, and holding down Vol +/- and power button. No vibrations.
* Holding Vol + while connecting the USB cable to a laptop USB 3.0 port. Charging indicator light turns blue. Let it sit for an hour, disconnected USB, system immediately turned off. Pressed the power button. Nothing happened.
* Not hold anything down, plug the USB charger into the stock Sony wall-charger (U.S. market) that came with the tablet. Light turns red for 1 second, green for 1 second, turns off for 1 second, flashes red, then turns green. Let sit for an hour. Press the power button. Nothing happens.
When connected to the laptop, with the charging light Blue, ADB found no connected devices. Tried again with the charging light green. ADB still found no devices.
Frustrated, we disconnected it for everything and let it sit for two hours not connected to anything. My wife tried to turn it on, and we got it to boot! It had 5% battery remaining. Every cable we connected to it, whether to a wall charger or to a laptop, triggered a USB warning notification stating that the USB needed to be connected to a charger, but this notification was immediately replaced with the low battery warning notification before we could click on it to attempt to take any action, if any actions were even available. Hoping for the best, while it was on and now with 3% batter remaining, I tried holding down the Vol +/- buttons and power button again hoping to trigger a device reset.
Now it's back to not booting, and the power indicator light again did the red, green, off, red, green cycle.
We're well outside warranty on this one, and with no cosmetic damage I'm hesitant to try to dismantle it if I can avoid doing so.
I've scanned all the other threads and couldn't find any similar issues, so I turn to you. Any advice would be most appreciated. Any advice that leads to my wife getting her primary computing device back in full operations mode is even more appreciated.
