Lmao! Mine is a tad bit slower.

Here in Montreal, 25-35 mbps

Getting 20-35 down, 10-20 up in Dallas.

LTE speeds decrease fairly dramatically in relation to decreased signal strength, so trying to compare 2-bar measurements to 5-bar measurements is kinda pointless.
In DC, im seeing:
with 5 bars: 26-40 down
4 bars: 20-25
3 bars: 10-19
2 bars: 6-9
1 bar : 4-5

Here is mine in New York City.

Emeryville, CA on 3 bars
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke

These are my various speed. Typical for me. I haven't tested in a while, but I have noticed no speed declines.
The highest speeds I've achieved are posted in my signature. 48.35 Mb/s down and 11.29 Mb/s up. I live in Suburban Washington in the State of Maryland.

56.49Mbps I'll take it! Location: Decatur, GA.

High 30's low 40's Mbs down
About 15-20 up
In Phoenix Az

Wait.... Are these speeds megabits or megabytes? I think there is a difference. I'm getting 15 megabits per second download and 7 upload.

Megabits.
(Mb) = Megabit (MB) = Megabyte
Mbps = Mega bits per second
32Mb = 4MB
So it would take 5 seconds to download a 20 MB file at the download speed of 32 Mbps.

27/4 in the Kent area. That's because Akron and Canton have officially turned on LTE, Cleveland is being roadtested. Soon. That's a hell of a nice swath of LTE coverage for Ohio.

This morning in Montreal Quebec Canada.
On Rogers network.

4G Speeds

Ok. I know this depends on the area you're in, and has already been talked about, but I would like to get an idea if this problem is widespread and/or a hardware related issue. My 3D NEVER reaches even 2 mbps, even in different cities. With full bars. Anybody else? Share stories/experiences.

I've gone from 200k-300k to upwards of 1.5mb the past few weeks, which I haven't seen in a long time. On wimax I use to be able to get upwards of 4-8mb but haven't checked in awhile.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
I get 2mb usually or less. I've gotten 6 mb but its rare and never when I need. It. I've noticed longer ping equals more speed. 3g is 200 kb. Overall I'm not happy especially having to constantly reconnect to 4g.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
I range anywhere from 1-8 megs here in Jax, Fl. Usually stay right around 3 megs for the most part tho. Hardly ever 3 bars, just 2.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
In SoCal where the signal is probably the best in the country.
Usually 5-8 M but I have been tethered and downloaded at 1100kpbs and have speedtested at 10M but those are the rare times.
BTW, I have a Airave sitting here NIB that hasn't even been taken out for pics
I scored it when I had a Evo4g that had a smoked radio and consistantly had zero bars...that's how I ended up with the 3devo (hey I like that, 3devo ).
Airave for the lulz
im on vacation trip here in providence, im getting constants 6mb/1.3mb, i have gotten 10.3 mbps, full bars...

Any of you guys had another 4G device before this? Were the speeds better or same?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I had Tmo and a hspa Samsung Galaxy S.
I got a very consistant 6-7 Mbit, rarely fluctuated.
It was just a all around more stable signal.
Sprint is buggy....signal strength is all over the place.
im in Madison TN and my phone ranges from 1 to 2 bars on wimax and 3 bars full if I go outside.
My speed range from average 4megs down - 9megs down if I keep doing speed test like 3 or 4 times.
My lil bro has a Nexus 4G his gets about 3 megs down always. There suppose to push a update to his phone to fix his wimax speed on the Nexus 4G
My Girlfriend has my older Epic 4G her phone gets about the same speeds as my Evo 3D
up speed always max out at 1.5 megs.
Ping range from 100-150ms

To all my non LTE brothers

Myself, being in between 2 LTE cities, Raleigh and Charlotte NC, I'm from Greensboro am stuck with hspa+...how ever running a test it seems like we are like the Atrix, seems that hsupa is disabled!!!! I'm am only getting .3/.4 mbps upload like when I first first got the Atrix. After the update I was getting over 1 mbps upload..... Any idea if maybe the other radios will enable hsupa on those unfortunate of not having LTE for the time being?

At my work I average about 10-12mb download on HSPA+ and about 1mb generally. I'm pretty sure 1mb up for HSPA+ is the fastest you should get.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Wow if I see 5 mbps I'm extremely happy :-(
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
It wasn't unusual to see 7mb down and 3mb up on the atrix, tho I usually averaged 3mb down and 1-1.5mb up
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
About 3-10 down and 1-2 up for me.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA App
Honestly, I wouldn't care if I don't get LTE speed if they just give me a SOLID HSPA+ speed or even a solid 3G speed.
I am lucky if I can get 1mb for download.
I'm at 7 / 1
Thankfully the wifi at school aint bad: 30 / 12
I live in an LTE area so I had to make a phone call then run the speed test really quick before it could switch back to LTE. I got 6.87↓ 0.83↑, not exactly phenomenal results but definitely faster upload speed than hspa.
i live in chantilly va.
at work 50 down 15 up
at home 2 down 1 up, only 5 miles away from work.
Coming from an iphone and getting 1down 1up on 3g, I'm very happy with the 8 down and 2 up on HSPA+. Sure I wish I was in an LTE area but that will do for now. The shocking part is I'm in a rather small mountain town in Colorado.
I'm getting .31 down and. 1 up and it says 4g. My phones like jacked up

How fast should my 4g be?

I have heard people say you have a (ex) 21/7 plan or a 14/6 plan. Are there actually plans like this and how do i know what kind i have? Does this have to do with the towers, the phone or just Verizon?
Excuse my ignorace
They list speeds of 5-12mbs down load and 2-5mbs upload. You may get more or you may get less.
This all has to do with what phone you are using, the tower you are using and the # of users on the tower.
There are no different plans. It depends on the phone and where you are. I got like 22Mbs on my GNEX and Rezound near pittsburgh, but only about 6-11 near Youngstown. So it really is a big difference in variables.
I've hit 29 down and 5 up.

I've seen downloads that calc out to faster than 20mbit/sec. A lot faster than Wifi, I can tell you that!
a lot faster than your wifi, maybe.
yeah - at work i get consistent 30d/6u, at home I get around 8-9u/4d. Where I live is a much more densely populated 4G area than where I work.
I've hit 50 down and 12 up here in central Florida

3G Speed of PHOTON 4G

3G (7.2 Mbps), 3G (14.4 Mbps) , 3G (21.6 Mbps), 3G (21.8 Mbps)
out of above four which i can use on my PHOTON ?
Weird question.... But you can expect around 2 to 5 megaBITS depending on the location as Sprints 3g speeds are slower than Christmas in most places due to the transitioning over to LTE. There are 8 bits in a byte of data. So that translates to roughly 200 to 400ish kilobytes per second. Keep in mind its entirely possible to hit over 8 megabits (1000kbs) in some locations but it seems to me the people getting these speeds are few and far between.
I think hes referring to gsm 3g

LTE speeds on AT&T

Just some early testing of my LTE speeds on AT&T's LTE network. I had a GNex before and normally I maxed out at 3MBps down and 1.5MBps up. LTE is so much faster. Amazing

AT&T LTE is nice, but it's a bit slower than I expected in San Diego. I was seeing 35-50mbps everywhere else. I'm averaging around 12-15 here in this area.
