look in the market.apk or what ever the name if the market is
Yea not in there
probably within systemui,framework-res or com.htc.resources
Decided to go look for it for you.. and i found it in the market(play store) app
The exact image you are looking for is called... stat_notify_marketplace_update
And also the instal icon is called... stat_sys_install_complete

In astro file manager There are sopose to be icons beside each file or folder. Image files automatically display a thumbnail of the image as their icon.I only have is a white box with a little blue droid next to it so it makes it really hard to tell the app. like in backup i could just look at the icon and i could tell what app it was and it also does it with root explorer.any help would be great.

another one for me...
Flashes, but only takes a split second to do so. Once I reboot, nothing is changed.
Edit: re-downloaded and all is good

Probably a bad download. Thanks for letting me know it works.
No problem!
This is a great theme. I would like to give MrDSL a big thanks as he does not even have a MT4G to test this theme on. Oh and there is much more skinned than shows in the screen shots. Many of the apps like gmail, and market etc have also been reskinned. The market is a beautiful transparent with a touch of blue.
I will try to get some screen shots of this up today.
Where's the redhead? lol

I think you have to get that wallpaper separately. I'm not where I can upload it right now. Maybe MrDSL can upload it.
It should have done the wallpaper with the theme but maybe its handled different on MY4G..You can get it here
How would I go about getting JUST the cool status bar? Really digging the battery speedometer. =0)
MrDSL for some reason the Wallpaper is not working. I did see your wallpaper in the framework-re.apk/drawable-hdpi but for some reason it is not installed or even available through the wallpapers function in settings.
MrDSL I have noticed a couple more minor things. The Google Search widget is completely transparent, not sure if this is by design? There are just 2 symbols on either side, the microphone and Google icon on the other, nothing in the middle but the text search. Also in the widget selection menu after selecting google search widget, the list of options or type of search widget, the icon for web is missing.
When you open up the search in the browser the microphone on the right side can't be seen as it is white in color and so it blends in with the search frame.
I hope this makes sense and I will later put up some screen shots for you.
great work!
This is the real deal right here, love the color scheme with great detail!!
Great job!!
Ok MrDSL here are some Screen Shots of some of the possible minor issues. I will post some more screen shots in another thread also, don't want to be too confusing.
Great job. I really like it.

Yeah the Google widget is transparent by design although that blue Google icon on the right isn't suppose to be there..I missed a image edit there..attached is how it should look..I will fix it later..its a market app so if you want just delete it and install it from market.
Personal preference I guess cause I like it transparent on my home screen and I know the icons are there

I've been working on this theme for a while now, I keep running into issues, but for the most part I've been able to do what I need to do. I'm still tweaking things here and there but will make sure to update with the zip folder containing the theme. The notification bar is hidden and can be pulled down by swiping down or clicking the icon on the top. The app drawer can be brought up from the icon along the center of the bottom.
Any comments are always helpful, let me know what you guys like and don't like. Loving this app so far!
*Updated Zip (01-14-14)*
fine looking theme m8
Looks awesome! The only thing I didn't see in the screenshots was the app drawer icon. If you could squeeze that somewhere and publish already - that'd be great. I'd love to install it and see how it handles.
Thanks guys, the theme's complete and I've sent it to MCS. Hopefully we'll see it on their homepage soon.
The app drawer is accessed by the icon that is at the center of the bottom.
I'll publish this for you guys when I get home!
Yay

OMG and I thought I was the only one who missed the touchflow 3d htc days!! would love to have the zip for this theme ASAP!
Alright guys, sorry for the wait. I updated the first post with the most recent zip export. Let me know if you guys would like to see something changed or another theme made up. I love designing nice themes

Download the zip folder and place it into your SD card under the MyColorScreen>Themer>Exported directory. You'll then be able to select it from clicking Browse Themes>Exported Themes.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, this is off the top of my head

Thanks for that. So, all the different "themes" shown on the mycolorscreen website...do those all need to be replicated manually? Or is there a zip file for each one of those?

That depends on if that person set it up using themer or not. I've seen a lot that use nova launcher and a few other widget programs so I believe those have to be replicated manually. That's the nice thing about themer, put the zip folder on your phone and it works right away.
Brings me back to the day of windows 6.1 lop nice job

I learned by going the long way, it goes into the zip folder in the exported folder
Works for me! Good job! One thing though...on the main screen, the three icons for camera, calendar and Chrome don't work. It brings up the playstore with "retry" on it. I have all those installed. How do I change what app they are pointing to?

I literally just made a shortcut to the Camera, Calender and Browser and changed the icon. I'm sure the icons are in the zip folder so you could always delete the shortcuts, add them again with your shortcuts and change the icon. It works correctly on my phone surprisingly
Wow amazing work!!!!
What I would recommend is that you can use holo looks ...Everyone likes holo looks !! black doesn't suit this type of setup.try using transparent glass background(I mean kinda like a tinted glass or a semitransparent glass)
Something like this
Ok i have found a way to make any wallpaper appear with transparent notification and onscreen keys just like stock wallpapers, on stock launcher. It is so easy and i just haven't seen it reported anywhere so I thought I should mention it. All u need to do basically is to zoom in just a little bit on the wallpaper when selecting it. I mean crop it just a little bit. You will see it works like a charm
Updated instructions: long tap on homescreen. Go to wallpapers. Select ANY picture u want. Comp!ete action using "Crop picture". Tap on the upper blue arrow and drag it down just a little bit( really just a timy bit is enough). Select crop. U are done. Enjoy

Screenshots incoming, sorr for zip format but size was too big for jpeg and i had no time to upload them to another site and then post urls. It works like charm the photo i set is one i took with my camera but works on any pic or wallpaper
You can crop it even less than i did but i cropped so much so that it shows on screenshot
that "semi transparent" notification bar is usual. The really transparent notificaton bar is when you dont see any edge of it. So, sorry but its nothing new.

Then quick question. If i dont do the above, i get black bar and black (non transparent) buttons on my homescreen unless i select a stock wallpape?that means there is something wrong with my device? Please advise... Only thing i get that semitransparent effect with other pics is when i do the above. Is there something wrong?

Ok will try reflashing stock and see if it is solved. Also can a moderator close this thread?
Hi, I am an Android user since early 2010, and only twice I've seen this icon. I am currently using Cyanogenmod 11, Android 4.4.2. The first time I saw this, a few years back, I didn't react in time to take an screenshot, but I managed to do so a few minutes ago.
This icon, the two times I saw it, only appeared for a few seconds and went away, and I'm sure it is a really dumb question, but I need to know haha.I'm guessing it's trasnmiting something... OTA maybe?
I attached part of the screenshot of the notification bar. The icon I don't know is the 4th.
In the picture you can see the icon of vibration, wifi, cellular network, the weird icon, battery, and finnaly clock. Thanks!

I don't remember the name of this icon but you can extract systemui.apk or framework-res.apk from CM11 zip and search *wifi*.png. You should find this icon and its naming should help you to understand why you have it on your screen.

Hi! Thanks for answering.
I got the framework-res.apk and browsed through every "stat_*.png" I could find, but I didnt find a match. I browsed through all the res/drawable* .png and didnt find a match either. Looking again at the screenshot, the icon is a bit more white than the sjade of grey used for the other icons.
Is there any other place where custom status icons could be saved?
