Can a modem become "more" stable as time goes on? My experience "seems" to be that this is possible? I flashed a new modem on Monday...which performed like crap, but since then has slowly stabilized or seems to have stabilized. Performance has improved in both good signal areas and poor signal areas.
Also, how do modem files of the same ROM differ when posted by different users of xda forums? Are they the same? Any thoughts is greatly appreciated?
Att Skyrocket ICS Leak UCLE2...no custom ROM. Reflashed modem(s) both seanscreamz and waffleized.

what does this (and epic 4g modem) have to do with a vibrant phone?
Hi everyone, I currently own a Sony Experia X10 that is getting old/slow, battery does not last and is quickly dying (tried many roms, played with it a lot, now all it does is crash multiple times a day whatever the kernel/rom I use) and I plan on switching in the current week. I'm in Canada with Rogers. Currently looking at what Rogers offers me, galaxy S2, razr, nexus, raider, etc... Any suggestions? Modding is a maybe for the next one, it all depends on how well it works oob. Link to current phones they have:

What would you suggest? Read a lot of review and cannot make up my mind on one, some I love the design, other the camera, they all seem pretty good in terms of performance, ICS available now or in a near future is part of my considerations... thoughts?
Thank you!

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting the Nexus, but I'm not too sure about it's signal strength (Wi-Fi, HSPA, GSM, etc). Is the Nexus capable of receiving strong signals inside a room? That's the current problem I'm experiencing with my Xperia X10...
Any phone suggestions? Galaxy SII??
Oh the phone must be compatible with T-Mobile USA..
Thanks!

I have no signal issues at all with my Gnex on T-mobile. There are so many radios out, I'm sure you would be able to find one that works well for you.

so you have reception most of the time even inside a building?
Sorry for not posting in the development forum, but since I am a newbie, forum rules will not let me post there.
Possible issue - I installed the Flapjaxxx ICS IMM76D UCLF6 Base Build #4 rom, and still didn't have GPS, so I flashed the stock UCLA radio to get GPS functionality. I thought everything was perfect, but since then, my family has complained that my phone conversations sound garbled... If I shut off my Jawbone Icon and speak directly through the phone, they say it sounds great. But when I am using the Jawbone, they describe it as "being in a tunnel." My Jawbone is a couple of years old, so a friend said it could just be getting old and plugged with pocket lint... But the timing of the issue cropping up after rooting to this ROM is suspicious. Has anyone else had bluetooth problems? Thanks!

Good.
The only threads in the development sub-forum should be ROMs, mods, and radios anyway. If you have a question post in the Q&A section.
