My Flyer is on its way to me, and I am looking at some current deals on Micro SD cards. Currently, there is a Samsung 32GB Class 10 for $35 or an AData 32 GB Class 4 for $20. There was also a Team 32GB Class 10 for $23 (since expired).
My understanding is that Class refers to the read/write speed of the card (the higher the class, the higher the speed).
My questions are these:
I will be using the SD card primarily to store movies, music, ebooks, and photos. Given these uses:
(1) Will class 10 v. class 4 make much of a difference?
(2) Would class 10 be necessary or preferable?
(3) Under what circumstances/uses would the class 10 make a difference on our flyers (video recording?)
(4) Are there brands that are preferred /brands to be avoided?
(5) I've run across some threads that discouraged the use of 32GB cards (higher failure rate v. 16GB). Is this still relevant?

I have a 32GB Class 10 in mine. I think for the price difference, I may as well go for the Class 10. I'm reading from many other people that the new 64GB cards work just fine, as well. They format out at 59GB.

Thanks for the input. I thought about it some more this morning and decided to just bite the bullet and purchase the 32GB Samsung Micro SD Class 10 card.
Funny - I initially purchased this tablet because I was trying to find a good 7" tablet and wanted to spend under $200 (I obtained it for $170). However, I have now spent an additional $83 on accessories (HTC Scribe + Ace case (similar to the Blurex case) - $45 on eBay for the bundle), screen protector ($3), and now, the micro SD card ($35).
However, the nice thing about the micro SD is that, in the event I end up selling the Flyer, I can easily use it on future phones, Android tablets, etc.

True, I got my Flyer for $175. I added the 32GB Class 10 card for $23 (was a Newegg sale), and a Navitech leather case I found on Amazon for $10 that came with a 2pack of screen protectors and also holds the pen. I also bought a Fujitsu pen for $24 (works just like the HTC Scribe pen). I've loaded the Cool3D Honey v4 ROM and really love this thing, now.
Unfortunately I'm having to sell my 32gb touchpad with the official case. Cm9 nightly installed PM me with any sensible offers around £160
