Hey guys,
I just recently got a tab 10.1 for christmas, and I am excited to start to try new rom here.
My question I hope someone could please help me out.
Which firmware is the latest for the 10.1 wifi (P75100) out there? I can see Honeycomb 3.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1187087, but I don't know which one is the latest.
Regarding for the rom, which one do you guys mostly recommend out there?
I read Task650 is excellent for wifi, but I don't know if it does support the P7510
Hope someone here could help me out!
Thanks a lot!
Cheers!
You can start looking at sammobile.com.
You will find the latest stock rom there.

First things first. 7510 is the wifi version. 7500 is the 3g version. Which do you have?
Second. There's only about 4 custom ROMs currently updated, check the dev subforum, pick one, install it, and see if you like it.
Hey!
I did check out the sammobile.com, but they don't have the Honeycomb 3.2, so I guess it's outdated on the list. I have the Wifi version, 7510.
Any you guys recommend personal custom roms?
Did you look good?
When I check sammobile latest rom for GT-P7510 is XWKL1 3.2

As someone said before, P7510 IS the wifi version, so Task650's ROM works only on the 7510.
Many people have said good things about that ROM, so I'd recommend flashing it and seeing if it suits your tastes. It's also one of the most updated ones, so you'll be on the latest stable&good firmware available.
Great! Thank you for your reply! Much appreciated!
Last request. Could anyone please give me the direct link of the latest firmware for the Wifi, P7510? I can't find it on the sammobile website previous posted I gave a link.

You can update your official firmware directly on your tablet by going into Settings. There is a how to on Sammy's website here http://www.samsung.com/us/article/galaxy-tab-10-1-updates
That being said, Task's rom is excellent and I highly recommend it over stock. It has all the bells and whistles such as root, overclock, etc. It's fast and has great looking themes. Great starter ROM to use while we wait for CM9 to be released.
I did follow the link you provided me. There is no update available for the 3.2 yet at my country. I live in Norway, so I need a direct rom where I can flash the lastest firmware on my tab. You know any direct link website where I can get the latest firmware for the wifi 3.2?
Well, if you want an official rom, I guess you have to wait until they release one for your region as I don't know if the roms for other regions will work on yours. Maybe they will. I'm not sure. But there are a lot of wifi 3.2 roms that should work in the development section. Try Task's rom. I'm pretty sure you wont be disappointing. Sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for.
I use task 650 10 and it is very fast and stable.
Hey! I managed to install task rom and got the 3.2 firmware too. I the only thing which annoys me, and I don't know if it's the hardware issue, or the custom rom or rom the 3.2 rom itself, I find this tab kinda slow for browsing on the Internet, responding by open the shortcut applications for example, if you know what I mean. it's not snappy/smooth speed like the Samsung Galaxy s II. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Hi "Ciex" nice to see another Nordman here
I have installed the 3.2 standard firmware from this place:
h t t p: / / w w w . s a m m o b i l e . c om / fi r m wa re / ? p ag e = 3 & t = 3 & o = 1 & m = G T -P 7 5 0 0 & r = 1 # m o d e l s a
But Im thinking of trying out the GALAXY TASK 10 but Im not sure if it is suporting 3G also as I have 2 sim cards one for my phone and one for my tablet.
First of all, happy new year to everyone
Okay, I'll be try to be specific.
I used to use froyo's original ROM for my galaxy 3, but it's kinda slow, so I decided to look around for good roms. Found out a rom named Kyrillos.
I flashed with Kyrillos rom, updated, used diferents kernels, but it ignores my SIM card.
I've tried to "downgrade" again to froyo, and its working normally; it detects my SIM card. It's just Kyrillos's room the one that gives me problems.
Any of you guys, had a problem like that? Maybe not on Kyrillos, but maybe its a common issue, thats why I decided to post it here.
Hope you guys can help me.
Right now, my network provider is Vodafone. Using Samsung Galaxy 3 I5800 with Kyrillos 9.4 with v2.3 kernel.
I've read something about changing Modem rom.
Can't find a Modem rom for Galaxy 3. Anyone knows a name of a good Modem rom?

Hi all,
I just bought a Galaxy tab 10.1 yesterday. On the box it says GT-7500 but in the device i see GT-7510. Is this a problem?
Also my tablets has a wifi and a 3g connection but in the forums i see topics like "blablabla tab 10.1 wifi" , or ..."wifi only" . Does it mean its only for the wifi versions? What about the 3g version?
I tried to install cyanogenmod for my galaxy tab but my 3g wouldnt work. So whats the best rom? I really tought it was cyanogenmod because i used it before with my lg o2x and galaxy s2 phone. So any other ideas?
thanks alot
GT-P7500 = 3G + WIFI
GT-P7510 = WIFI ONLY
I think you have flashed a P7510 (Wifi Only) ROM to your Device by mistake (so it says it is a P7510, when it isn't) so you have lost 3G.
If you want to keep 3G you need to flash a P7500 ROM instead.
In my opinion:
AOKP is the best ICS Rom (but missing camera).
Galaxy Task's Clean ROM is the best Honeycomb ROM.
Just make sure you install (flash) the correct version. P7500!
Wondering how the ICS work is coming along for Galaxy 10.1 PT7500 as far as getting the camera to work. Also, has anyone made any headway on getting a working 3G CS Phone functionality? I have tried to scour the threads but can't really discern any information from them.
Already been there
