In this thread I'll show youHow to have 100mb (or more ) free in internal storage
It works with ALL versions of CM7
For that, just go in :
-Settings
-CyanogenMod settings
-Application
From now use the thing which is in your head...
Tick "Allow application moving"
And tap "install location" => a window is opening (whoah I'll achieve something in my life ) and now tick "external"
DONE !!!!!!!!
Now choose the app you want and tap on "move to SD card"
You can do this with ALL apps
Don't say thanks just press this magic button
I should precise with this method you don't need to install any apps and I have 155 apps and 132 mb free
I'm using link2sd

This method does not moves the entire application to the sd card, it hardly moves a maximum of 50% for most of the apps.
I think link2sd is a better way.
Anyways thanks for sharing, it does clears up some space though.
Link2sd is better for newbies...
And deleting system/app get more mb, get rid those bloatware...

Seriously, i found it easier to Just partition SD Card and use link2SD. This method is for people that's already flashed a cm rom, don't see how that's newbie friendly.

Yes it does but IMO, swapping to sdcard is not very useful because it is the slowest memory in our device and swappin to it is not very efficient and I forgot to mention that sdcards normally have a high rate of data corruption and failures and swapping to it will only increase the risk of corrupting the card. Instead you can use swap to cache or zram, it would be more efficient and useful. Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not trying to spoil this thread or something (I hope I'm not spoiling it) just wanted to explain something useful :beer:

Ok, so I wanted to make guide how to move apps, even user apps like facebook, viber, etc. to external memory (sd card). I never saw anyone using this, so I want to share you this method with you guys.
For doing this, you need to have :
Rooted Galaxy Ace (right, nothing else)
PROCEDURE :
1. Go to Play Store and download Titanium Backup
2. Allow Superuser to work with this app
3. When you get in Titanium Backup, press menu on your phone, and go to batch actions
4. When you get to batch actions, go to 4th section which is called move/integrate
5. Select Move user apps to the SD card (that will also include non-user apps like games, etc.) and press run
6. Select apps you wanna move or you can just select all and press RUN with green tick.
7. Wait for it to move apps and you're good to go
Hope this helped guys..

Hi,
Just handed my XZU for nearly 2 weeks now. Really loving it, great companion for my Xperia Acro S.
We know that XZU only available in 16gb of internal memory and expandable via SD card. But i face a little issue with the internal capacity, now i am using 75% of the memory - i install pretty much big games, and it continues to keep on growing --"
With that pattern of usage, i guess moving big apps to sd card will help, but i cannot find the "move to external memory" option inside the app detail. Is it possibble to move the app to sd card? Do i need to root my device?
Your responds are highly appreciated. Thank you.

App2SD: Not supported

This means, No Go....
Safe bet you will need root access for any on these apps to work. Rooting is easy, but it's your personal choice if you do it. Plus you always get the choice if which apps to grant access to so security should not really be a concern.

Mine reboots too... but to install remount-reboot we need to have a working CWM, which is not the case...
Or, install it through a PC, but it drives me mad not being able to do everything on my device instead of depending on a computer.
We'd need something like Mobile Odin Pro for Samsung... isn't it possible to do something like that? Just a question, I don't know if it would be science fiction... :silly:
