Hi, I have flashed my S2 19100 from gingerbread to ICS via odin, when I go to change the CSC code to UK there is only one option which is KOR how can I put more options on my mobile so I can change it to my region. So I'm just wondering if it's possible to add an additional country to the Regional Settings, quite frustratring as Kies see mobile and I can do everythin on it except update firmware, not too bothered anout Kies I just want to know why and the CSC seems to be the only thing left to try - that is changing it...

In the Netherlands, when you get a phone shipped with your contract (eg T-Mobile), you are stuck and branded to 2.3.3
In a quick ragequit I flashed it with firmware from SamFirmware (I9100XWKF1)
Also a Multi CSC is delivered with the firmware, so I installed that too.
Since I discovered that it isn't really a local firmware (guess it is KOR) i decided to install a stock firmware package from this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278 forum.
The one that I selected (CEKI2) should be XEN (Netherlands).
However after flashing this ROM, Samsung Kies still says CSC: KH1 (KOR)

I tried to use the XEN CSC also from the same thread with Odin.
After that I even did a factory reset
Is there anything that I can do to set things straight here?

Solved!
By removing Kies, using CCleaner and reinstalling Kies it solved the problem
Hi guys, am new here. I bought an SGS2 2 months ago, and it's the Middle Eastern version. I've tried repeatedly to update it via software update, but it won't update. My question is can I flash another region's update on my SGS2? and how do I do it?

try to change csc to xsg and u will enable to update ur phone
or download the firmware form http://www.sammobile.com/showthread.php?t=23
and u will find the official Arabic firmware
changing csc will wipe all data

anyone has any idea where can I find CSC for Croatia for Galaxy Tab P7500?
Curret rom is P7500XXKL4, HC 3.2 stock, rooted. I flashed P7500XXKG7 rom and it applied CSC code for Italy. I updated device via Kies to 3.2, but still CSC code for Italy applied. I need to change this to Croatia (Vipnet).

I had flash a few official ROM like UtimaRom ,Turkbey and Criskelo with the multi CSC selection option
But after selected the correct CSC "STH" it will make a factory data reset when i dial *#1234# it will still show the default CSC I9300OXFDLI1
Firstly you should search first before posting as it says in the Forum rules.
And secondly download this on your device and change your CSC through this. And yes it will do a factory reset on your device each and every time your change your CSC

what you mention using the CSC select from the play store , i had did it but Still show me the default I9300OXFDLI1
when i connected to the Samsung Kie ... current firmware show AP:LIB, CP:LIB, CSC:LI1 (STH)
DId it mean i successfully changing my CSC on Galaxy S3 ...?
problem is dialing *#1234# show me default I9300OXFDLI1??

i have just downloaded stock firmware for my s3. i live in Egypt and after i downloaded my firmware for my country and flashed it to my device, i connected it to my computer and i opened kies but i found that my firmware details end by (AFR) while originally it end by (EGY). i downloaded it from sammobile. can anyone help me if this is different from my stock?and if so, is there another site where i can find stock firmware for my country??

You can change your CSC to your preferred one if it is available in the firmware by dialling #272*[Device IMEI]# (Please note, this will perform a factory reset on your phone)
