Here is the official way: http://www.lg-phones.org/how-to-install-android-2-3-3-gingerbread-firmware-on-lg-optimus-one.html. Here is the XDA way : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007244 (see step 4 and choose a rom of your choice here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=839).
actully i found a better way, if you flash the jobans kernel you can get the tri color screen fixed it the easiest way!

Better to open 2 internet pages and one cmd window than install program, going though all the process (I don't think that the same things would not be explained in it) and then uninstall it.. You are doing it probably only once, so why mess up with programs, when you can have same thing without installing anything

Yeah, use that. The 2.7.1 version posted is not usable yet, so don't use that.

No problem dude. BTW, you're right : it's better to use a stable version to flash 4.1 ROMs... I was just sayin'.
This thread has become a complete OT mess.

Has anyone tried to get send_command.exe working with their verizonV10. Theres a method that the G4 users use where they load LG Up with the current firmware and then pull the plug to leave open the com port for flashing a custom stock system.img to the phone.
Any feedback on this would be great!

So do they use this to bypass the bootloader? Because that's the problem with this phone on 6.0. I'd like to read more about this. Can you provide a link?

It really seems like it. But its not.
Well I have done it to my friends G4s (3 of em got the sprint one) but I dont wanna risk my V10 cause im nowhere near the states and you know... Warranty doesnt cover me overseas.
I asked this before but no one answered so I thought maybe I'm in the wrong forum. Is there ANY custom ROM for LG G5 H860? The stock ROM is pretty horrible and is using 70% of the RAM by itself. Lots of bloatware and not really fun to use. Can I use any of the ROMs here for my device?
Thanks in advance.

No! Coz its bootloader is not unlockable. better switch to H860/H850/RS988 if you want custom rom support.

You mean change my phone, like physically? Or is there a way to somehow install a new firmware and then change the OS?

Hello all,
I plan to get a OnePlus 10T soon UNLOCKED model.
What are my prospects for installing a custom ROM now or in the future? I had a OP 9 a few months ago & only had it for a short time.
Regards
LC
We don't have a MSM tool which would allow us to restore the device from bricking... Until there is an alternative method to recover.... We might not see the custom ROM development.... Thanks to the OP becoming OPPO (or vice versa) and the greedy mindset of blocking stuff...OP is no longer dev friendly but yet another ******* company
How long would it take? It's a really powerful device

Have the devs moved to another phone? Any chance of getting a flagship phone with good ROMs in the next 8 months?

Yeah I thought so too. Even when I had my OP 9 I never bricked it

I would guess that when you develop a custom ROM, the chances of bricking your phone is significantly higher than when you flash a custom ROM someone has already made

If you can't get to fastboot, you need msm and you put your phone on EDL mode. I had to do this numerous times on my 8T. It's a clean and safe way to get back to stock in almost any situation.
I reflash my phone back to stock with fastboot.

You were able to flash stock on that model with fastboot? What zip file did you use? US incremental OTA? EU Full OTA?

So Google's get suppository for Android actually has a tool for extracting the boot images from your device so I did that and I'm currently running back on stock with a locked bootloader

Could you post the boot file and version you used? You flashed the boot image and then all the rest of the images? Do you have the commands for every image you flashed?
If I remember I'll do it once I get out of work but that's a little ways away still but I would just recommend doing it yourself by extracting your own boot images I can and send you a link if I get time if now I'll try to remember after work.

So you didn't flash the entire stock rom? Just the boot image? It is not clear.
For unbricking entire rom is usually needed so I was looking for examples of a full stock rom flash.
I am also looking for a stock version for CPH2417... payload.bin would be amazing.
I softbricked (bootloop) and had to use the CPH2413 (India) software (not good)
