Sorry cant see anything. But I think you need Gingerbread 2.3.4 (or variant) to run it.
I already have the Gingerbread 2.3.6 updated. But still the ADK apps saying not supported.
my ACE Version details
Android Version - 2.3.6 (stock - not rooted)
Baseband version - S5830DDKQ8
Kernel Version - 2.6.35.7-perf-CL972857 [email protected]#1
Build Number -GINGERBREAD.DDKQ8
No clue man. Does this shed any light? http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/novo-7-paladin/android-accessory-mode-not-supported-1146-2.html
Thanks Bakuron for the link
At least came to know that it is having some issue with ADK.
Is any custom rom or kernel will solve this? Anybody connected with arduino?
Any other help on this....?
This is the only other Ace related post on the ADK I found on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411487 I also saw this @arduino which suggests there are some missing support files for Samsung: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php?P...684960db27cce&topic=73735.msg750944#msg750944
This book here suggests the SGA should work with the ADK: http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=...AA#v=onepage&q=galaxy ace android adk&f=false
On stackoverflow they repeat that Ace is viable but that you need to have the correct USB drivers; http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10186760/android-adk-supported-devices referencing http://www.microchip.com/forums/tm.aspx?high=&m=591785&mpage=1#596040
Is any other kernel installing will help?
2.6.35+ http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7256263/which-android-devices-support-the-adk-open-accessory
Hmmm..i already have 2.6.35+ (2.6.35.7) still no support. BTW..just came my ace from service center after all hard bricked my phone.
Any other cheaper ADK supported phone you know?
Well as per the list I quoted earlier:

Google Nexus One
Motorola Xoom
Acer Iconia A100
Acer Iconia A500
LG Optimus Pad
ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101
Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1
Samsung Galaxy S
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Apparently the Galaxy Y too.

According to who? I'm certain I've seen people saying their Ace has it working.
HOW...? Any link....
With stock ROM or Custom ROM or any kernels?
From last one month i am searching for that. I am not a good developer, so i can't dig into the coding.
These people say it's supported: http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=2919¶m=en546070

Noticed the only supported SGA is SHW-M240S, which is south korean version not the indian version....:-(
Hi Everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wifi) bought from Korea, its OS is Android 3.2,
i have read from other threads that it must be converted to P710 first before updating the OS to ICS
my question is:
is it really necessary to change to stock P7510 from SHW-380S so that i could update the OS to ICS?
if not, can you give me a link for the instructions to update it directly?
And what would be the advantage inchanging to P7510.,
sorry for my noob question. I don't know if it sounds weird. or am I in the correct line of question
Hope to hear from you.
I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1. It came to me as a pt 5113. When I rooted it and updated the software to 4.3 using cmworld nightly it changed to p5110.
I wanted to downgrade because I wasn't able to use a lot of things and felt limited. However, my tablet won't turn off until it runs out of battery and I'm trying to just return it to the way it was before I tried to downgrade but it's not letting me. So I think it might be bricked. I don't know if it's a soft brick or a hard brick... I'm just so lost. Can anyone help me find how to straighten everything out if it can or provide me with step by step instructions.
Is there a way where I can just start fresh and just turn my tablet back to the way it was when I first bought it?
You might have better luck getting an answer in the Galaxy Tab 2 forums:

Hello friend. My problem with my galaxy s3 is: I had my phone with root and I wanted to put you a kitkat rom, put it with odin and it worked great but I did not like the system and try to change to the original version with Android 4.3 stock and give odin log in charge all right until the end that went wrong. Therefore my Samsung S3 now stays on the home screen goes to the top where it says Samsung. Someone who can help me I would appreciate it much
