Hi out there. The screen of an mini pro of a friend has many small scratches after 18 month of usage. Is there a way to polish the screen? Or does this affect touch function?

If you have the tools for it, you can polish the screen. But you have to be very careful, because if you polish it too much it can cause problems.
I have a scratch on my phone's screen, too, if anyone have a solution, please post it.

See the attached image, you can notice the horizontal blank area when I tried to draw vertical lines. Now its very difficult to use the top controls of many apps. Phone had fallen down a few times, but that was months ago. Now suddenly this problem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have a LG-p500 aka optimus one and i have a problem. About one cm on my phone wont work (nothing happens when i touch it) it fell down once and after that it doesnt work. Repairing it costs more then the phone itself so i was wondering is there any apps what can change my phones resolution? So the screen wont be displayed on that one cm? It would help me alot!
I have rooted device. Screen resolution is 320X480

There are many apps with which to change the LCD Density... But it sounds like you have a damaged digitiser... Get it repaired or replace the device... Happend to my GS2 too...

i had similar problem 2 days back my touch screen responded with dis-continous lines in service test.....did u get it fixed or replaced?? and my fone is under warranty (only 2 days more) near escape

during charge is normal in ICS...... this happens always even after trying all stock and custom roms even cm10
Hello there, I have such a problem, namely the top of my smartphone screen doesn't respond, when there is a button there I have a really huge problem to press it... Also there is no posibility to scroll the "top bar"... Could someone explain me WTH is going on with my phone? I haven't tried reinstalling the ROM yet, so maybe it could help!?

It may be a problem due to your hardware, ie with your touchscreen.
Perform a touchscreen test by typing *#*#7378423#*#* on your dialler

Hi guys...
I bought Xperia Z Ultra just couple of days back. I was excited about having it but the party was ruined when.I realised that it has Calibration problem. (Bought without Warranty)
See if some of you guys has the same problem and can suggest some fix:-
1- Dialing the wrong number from Call Logs.
2- Sometimes the keyboard goes crazy while Drafting email and start typing multiple alphabets I.e. eeee /dddd / ooooo etc.
3- Lag in registering Touch especially on Phone dialing.
Kindly help me with the solution if you have or had the same issue

Which firmware are you on? Had lag with touchscreen. So you should look if you can update your phone.
Also go on Settings/About/test device. There you can test everything on your phone and see what go wrong.

I am latest firmware 14.1.B.1.510. Recently updated.
I tested the device as you said and it seems fine there... But the problem is still bothering me and making my phone almost unusable.
It seems pure display calibration problem

Really annoying as there is no calibration setting on the phone. Tried a factory reset? Updated from Pc Companion or with flashtool?

Just do a repair via pcc most of the devices had thia peoblem.with the old firmware not getting updated properly
