[Q] XDA Notifications not working - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hey there.!
The topic says it. All the time when I try to enable the notifications from the XDA App it comes up with an error message telling me that there are no accounts to get notifications but I am logged in :O?

Exactly same issue to me as well.I am using SGS2 on ics 4.0.3.

Karthik

This may sound silly to ask, but just to cover the basics have you gone into your "call" settings and selected notification? Same with email. Open up mail/settings/notifications. Again you may have already done this but sometimes its the simple steps we can forget.
try that did't work thanks

There have been problems with the voice mail notifications in the Gingerbread leak. Many people have just started using Google Voice which seems to work well. Gmail im not sure about, it works fine for me and I have not heard of anybody else having problems yet.
I am now also having the same problem. No notifications that I had any messages. Just checked and I had 9! Not happy about this

Multi touch keyboard error

Hello, first post and all. Been having this problem for quite some time now. Every time I try to enable multi touch from my sgs2 an error keeps popping up (com.android.inputmethod.latin) making me disable it yet again. This is somehow linked to the sync update for contacts as this error comes up when I try to update my contacts with facebook. Anything to enlighten me on this problem would be appreciated. Thanks.

Q. getting rid of music interruption when recieving an SMS

since the GB (2.3.3) update, when I receive a text message while playing music it interrupts the music to play the notification sound. Very annoying, is there anyway to get rid of that.

If you don't need to save any messages, try clearing the cache.
Settings>Apps>Manage Apps>Messaging>Clear Data
Thanks

Hi payat7,
What ROM did you have when you had this problem?
I started having it happen randomly after one of the latest CM9 nightlies (around the beginning of June).
I have just a bit over 10,000 text messages, was this your scenario as well?
Thanks!

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday...I got the triangle notification in the top left part of the notification bar - I just hit clear and went about my business - gmail and google play didn't seem affected so not sure what that message was all about. Part of me thinks it might be some sort of phishing scheme from an app trying to get our username and password?
Probably just the servers playing up
Yea probabaly...this just started happening recently too....
