Hey guys
I need help with stock ics keyboard (I love it, so please don't tell me to use another)
I type a lot of messages in Russian, and it's very handy when prediction and auto correction are on. But since I flashed Infinitum ROM it's not working.
I checked that additional dictionary is installed and all settings are correct.
I previously used ICS utopia by team passion and it worked just fine.
Can someone tell me what is the problem and how can I fix it?
Or will it help if I somehow rip the dictionary provider apk out of my previous ROM of use and install it on Infinitum? (if so, I'll be very grateful for step by step instruction)
Thank you!

I'm pretty new on my SGS2 and I enjoy it alot and yesterday I installed my first rom, it was Litening rom but the problem is I dont have my language, Swedish on either skype or normal keyboard. Is there any way to get it?

Anyone who can help me?
Hi Guys
I (like an idiot) tried to update my Lumia 800 and 710 manually to 8170. The update went smoothly on both devices however many things dont work.. most importantly the "call" function. If i touch phone it crashes and get back to the screen it was on (home usually)
is there a way i could revert these phones to the stock rom?
Please help - i have a phone without a real dialer!
Thanks a lot
P.S. both these phones are unlocked (no contract)
Did you install the language pack with the 8170 update? That's the usual cause of that problem.
this is the name of the cab file i flashed
diff-7.10.7740.16-7.10.8107.79-armv7-retail-microsoft.pks_c9b7f3bc5bb340ba30473b566b4557de0cf3322e
If you just used that, then no, you did not install the language pack. Do that and it'll work again
sorry a little new at WP& flashing so might ask noob questions.. but i used this file and flashed both my lumias - now the call function does not work - how do u suggest i revert / make this work? i re-flashed it again - but after the entire process my phone say "update unsuccessful"
To make it work again you need to install the language pack.
Pretty sure there is a stock .cab gloating about, either in the huge .cab thread or in the dev forum.
ah couldnt really find the stock rom, let me try installing a language pack.. be back with the result soon thanks bud!
Language pack downloads are here: http://www.mobiletechworld.com/2012...l-out-started-get-it-now-and-update-manually/

Hello,
I have nowhere found an answear, that's why I'm asking You.
I'm on CM10.1 by mikeioannina, and have only one small issue.
I can't download and install other than english add-on dictionaries to AOSP keyboard. English is working perfectly. I've read on some forums that it is needed to go into add-on dictionaries, click refresh and more languages appear (for me polish apears), but when I try to install it, it just dissappears. I tried clearing data of dictionary provider apk, stopping the proccess, all that I found in google and xda.
So, any of You guys, have a clue how to do it? Maybe it's possible to manually push some files?
Please, help!!! That gesture typing in this keyboard is awesome. I don't want to use swiftkey or swype, as they are thrice as laggy as stock aosp keyboard.
Any help would be higly appreciated, cheers !

it will be fixed in upcoming builds
Hey Guys,
i've a x10 mini pro with naa's miniCM Rom and of course his kernel.
But what i don't understand is why the hardwarekeyboard, especially the blue button and the layout (i need a german qwertz layout) dosen't work by default.
In an other thread i found a working solution with a zip i needed to flash. now my keyboard works as it should do, but i don't understand what the problem was.
And because i'm a nosy person i would like to understand what the problem is.
Is someone here able to explain it to me?
(An other reason for my question is, that i tried an other keyboard (called minuum) which i really liked. But when i installed it and set it as default, my hardware-keyboard stopped to work correct. So i need a workaround so i can use both the [link "h t t p://minuum.c om/"]minuum-keyobard (@admin: if it's not allowed to post likes, please remove it) as a screen-keyboard and my hardware-keyboard (with the correct layout and with blue (and the other 'special-key-button') )
Thanks
Hi
I have installed spacecakers AOSP ROM from here
I've noticed an application at the bottom of the installed list that has a chinese icon and a chinese name. An image of it is shown below:
link
It also has very highly elevated permissions to do just about everything on the phone.
This is a clean install from the original zip. Has anybody else seen this and/or do you know what it is?
Cheers

Hi
Had been googling this for ages when I eventually found that it is a chinese keyboard app called PinyinIME.apk
Just in case anybody else sees this.
Cheers
