Are there any apps that let you assign an app to double pressing home? Or long pressing on the menu button to use search?

I made a mod for CM 10 that disables the capacitive buttons so the user can use GNex like on screen soft key nav.
I made a variation that also makes the home button the menu key. So pressing home brings up menu. The issue I have run into is when I mapped the Menu to home (menu and back are disabled) if you long press on the capacitive menu key it brings up recent apps. I cant seem to figure out how to disable the long press of that button.
If I disable all three buttons long press on menu doesnt work. It's only when I map the menu to the home button that it "enables" the long press on the capacitive menu button.
Anyone have any ideas?

u can try some CM10.1/AOKP based custom roms which have the same (hardware keys rebinding functionality)
How can I edit the shortcuts that come up when I long press the Home key?
Currently I get 'Whats new 'and 'Opera Mobile' when I long press Home key.

When we press back button in fb app it scroll back to top of the news feeds and on next press it shows recent app for sec and then it exits..its too irritating for me..anyone knows how i can get exit from fb app on single back button press..
Use the home button, or if you want to go back to another app double tap the recents button. Back button behavior is entirely app specific and Facebook doesn't have many options.

Now if I hit the home button instead accessing to the home, Google Now opens.
I do not know how to reset the home key to original function.
