This links tells you about it

This link let's you buy it

This link involves a discussion that this game is an open source project
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657775
IF this is an open source project, can this be ported to MDPI? This requires a screen size larger than the Mini/Pro, though I'd say the Ray works just fine with it.
Any ideas?

[webOS] [Q] webOS Source code?

Does anyone know where I can find the webos 3.0 source code. I would like to find the browser source code in particular.
Proprietary
HP's webOS is a proprietary software, so it's not opened source... though that could change. But I don't think HP would do that. Sorry, there isn't any source code available to the pubic at this time.
I thought Preware had functional kernel source? (meaning you could build a kernel and have all of the drivers "work"...)
Here is something to look at.

thanks

Thank I was just wonder of someone had hacked the OS
Hacked
In what way do you mean hacked? The interface is proprietary but the sound services etc.. use opensource applications like PulseAudio.
That source can be found here:
opensource.palm.com/packages.html
http://opensource.palm.com/packages.html heres the source for some of it at least
My mistake
Sorry about that, Palm owning the OS slipped my mind. Thank you for the link.
On a positive note, the kernel source is there... which should have the driver source that could be migrated into the android kernel... Kernel & patches
if you download the SDK from HP it has some sample code and it has the browser as one of the examples
Browser source (webkit that is) is on the palm site
You can download one of the webOS Doctors and extract it using 7zip. Easy access to a lot of the code, since it's mostly javascript/css.
http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Webos_Doctor_Versions
The Browser app is in /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.browser/
The sourcecode will be released soon per the news about HP's decision to release it. ENYO 's source code will also be released

Customized Android rom development, need your help!

Hello, developers in XDA, we are currently planning to develop a new android-based rom. The framework will be deep modified to give users a full new experience, We are all students in high school, so we need your help. After this project finished, we may design a new device using the rom we built.
Another member in our project, mariotaku.lee @ Google code:
Our project needs your help! We are NOT commercial team, We are just students. And I think most part of our project will be open-source, at least all projects owned by me. You can check them out in my project page:
MusicMod (based on Music Mod by Eliot Stocker, but with more powerful feature, my goal is make it better than PlayerPro, but MusicMod will be free and open source forever)
SMS Blacklist (block spam messages)
And I will develop X-server for Android in the future!
Take someone elses rom and tweak it a bit like everyone else does
sent from an HTC sensation on CM7 alpha #10
Hey John_Titor,
don't listen to what people say about it being hard, look at cyanogine and miui they started from scratch and now look how popular they are..
just stay close to the users and everyone will be happy
you can try using cm9's kernel or cm7's kernel instead of starting from scratch.
finally i wish you all the best.

MIUI port projects officially go open source!

Here you can find the information and source code you need to build an Android-compatible device. Android is an open-source software stack for mobile devices, and a corresponding open-source project led by Google. We created Android in response to our own experiences launching mobile apps. We wanted to make sure that there was no central point of failure, so that no industry player can restrict or control the innovations of any other. That's why we created Android, and made its source code open.

Its time to reopen the port project! Good luck guys!

Edit: Alright, its nothing big, neither a full source, its just some PatchRom project that they have open sourced...

AOSPA: Paranoid Android fully Open Source

AOSPA PARANOID ANDROID GOES OPEN SOURCE ON GIT
To all developers and maintainers out there,
we took our time to get a stable hands-free build-box ready, sorry you had to wait for so long but we had alot of work to do and we did not want to release something that is half-baked.
AOSPA is a new project for us, as you know, we started by basing on Cyanogenmod. This one is based 100% on AOSP. AOSPA is meant to be a stock oriented, lean ROM that delivers essential ROM-scene tweaks while retaining the elegance and ease of the original. We do not invest much time kanging other ROMs or teams, our primary focus is and will remain invention.
WHAT TO DO
As a developer you will need a couple of links to get up to speed.
If you just want to build, you find our Github here: http://github.com/paranoidandroid/
Kick it off by executing: repo init -u [email protected]aranoidAndroid/manifest.git-b jellybean
The only way to build PA is by using . rom-build.sh [devicename]
Hands off 'make' please. If everything works as expected it should ask for and fetch vendor files automatically.
If you would like to participate and help us, our Gerrit is here: http://review.paranoid-rom.com/
Legacy devices must supply their own trees and blobs. We do not accept any compromises to AOSP, please keep hacks out of it and overlay them properly.
Maintainers can freely take this project and release where ever they want. If you use our name, please make sure you stay true to our vision. Do not clutter this ROM with everything-everyone-ever-asked-for.
If you like to base your project on PA, no problem. Just treat the base with respect.
Kangers can take whatever they want, blow yourselves out.
NEW POLICIES REGARDING PA-PREFS
We unstamped the app and it may be used in any ROM. We do this under one condition. Do not mix it with DPI nonsense, ever! Do not merge it with AOKP's DPI changer, Dual-Panel Stuff, anything "true-tablet" related. If you do that we will pull it out of your project.
We do not wish to be the target of Googles retribution, and they take app-breaking VERY serious and could end any ROM if they wanted. Hybrid engine is safe as milk and will not break one single app in the entire Play market. But if you get our source wrong or mix it with conflicting code, you will - using our name and reputation. Please treat it respectful and give your users a decent experience!

[Q] Spritz

A quick search here brought nothing up what i'm looking for. so here's my question(s):
is there yet an app for android out with spritz-technology?
is the comunity aware of that interesting approach of reading technic?
does someone already digging into that stuff?
rumors saying samsung s5 and gear2 will be delivered with spritz technology preinstalled.
more info about spritz: http://www.spritzinc.com/
a blog entry i found: http://www.dvice.com/2014-2-26/read-novel-few-hours-zero-training-speed-reading-app
OpenSpritz-Android
"OpenSpritz-Android is a Spritz-like .epub reader for Android 3.0+ (API 11)."
It doesn't come in a pre-compiled APk from what I can tell. I am looking in to how to compile it to an APK now--but I have no experience in it.
Please post a link if someone can get an APK for it. I would love to use it!
search for open spritz android on github, because aparently XDA won't let me post links until I have posted more...
I see why there's not just an app for it yet. It would require book files to be loaded like ROMs, which is not an attractive option to most folks.
Once it's integrated with a Kindle app for instance, it'll really take off.
I think someone should work it into a public-domain library to start off. A public domain kindle style app with spritz as one of 2 options to read. I'd love to work thru the public domain classics.
Found this Spritz App clone - more of a proof of concept i guess - but has source code and an installable APK as well - but only works with txt files

Tried the Kpritz clone version. It works but it's not really ready for prime time. Love the concept though! I hope the dev works on it a bit more.

The best one to implement this I've found is called "Balto Speed Reading", link to the Play Store app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=balto.wolf.speedreading&hl=en
Using Spritz
Can i use Spritz technology in my app ?
I won't use Spritz code - it's simple similar implementation.
