I can`t hear and cant be heard during voice calls on my Samsung Galaxy Note. When I make a call the speaker by my ear does make the default Android "dialling now" noise, but then nothing (although the call seems to connect and the other party picks up). Do you think this is a problem with the phone or a network error? Thanks
This just spontaneously happened 10 Mins ago. Was working perfectly before.

when i first got my s3 and someone rang like my dad, it would ring and say dad calling, but now it only rings without saying dad calling
how do you turn it back
when i say it says dad calling, i mean as in speaking it out, as in its talking to me

I haven't seen this but feel free to blast me if I missed it here somewhere but I have a small issue with the phone. In my call logs I set it to view by "all calls", and but as soon as I leave and come back it has reverted back to "all logs". Nothing I do will keep it save as such. I appreciate any help and sorry if I missed anything in another thread.

i am facing the same issue, and its driving me nuts! i am on AT&T GS3...
It was like this on sgs1 and 2 as well. Will have to wait until custom roms come out that remove sms from call logs I believe. When you sort by call logs its only sorting by that for the moment but no permanently unfortunately :-(

I'm running CM9 final and haven't had any issues lately. Today I received texts up to a certain point from some Ppl and some I didn't when they texted me. I can send out but get nothing back. Phone calls work fine and so does my data... Any ideas? Please help!

Well it's a pretty stable build. Which they wouldn't have released if SMS didn't work. Which means its user error. Either it's a setting u changed. , an app u have running, or u didn't full wipe before installing. Best guesses at least. Good luck , happy flashing

I posted in CM9 only cuz that's the run I'm on, but thought I should post in question and answers instead. I will remember that next time. I've been on CM9 for quite a few days now and exec today I have been getting texts then all of a sudden nothing... I haven't changed anything, I was working most if the day.

I had good luck following this guide for setting up APN on I777 on CM9 , it is for ATT. It is from Infuse forums but it works anways. If it doesn't there is an option to reset to default.

*update* I ended up calling Att and tech support. After some trouble shooting he had me put my Simon into another phone to "wake it up, or un freeze" it then put back in my phone. I then got 18 texts when phone turned on. He said sometimes the Sim card gets confused from switch between towers and locks up. So really was an easy fix. Hope this helps anyone else. Thanks for suggestions!

I am running cm10.1 and have a very annoying problem which seems to be getting worse and worse.
When I receive or make a call I cannot hear anything through the speakers. I have to reset the phone and then it will work but after a while the same problem occurs.

Hi guys. I know there's some similar threads to this but when I rooted my phone and have CM on it. In Fact, when I update any of the roms out there I still get this anomole to happen. I'll get an incoming call and when I answer it I can't hear them. I'll switch to speaker phone and I'll mute and unmute and nothing works. Then the next call I make outgoing will not go through it will start to call then Call Ended will come up.
Has anyone else's phone behaved like this? The App's are stable and it bothers the heck out of me that the damn phone has issues being a phone.
