Anybody else have very low service in Boise? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

I've recently seen a dramatic decrease in bars throughout Boise, Idaho and was wondering if anybody else was having the problem? I've been out of town and verified its only problematic in Boise and the surrounding area.
Any help or info would be appreciated!

Try this thread, might be of some use. A new modem might do the trick.

[Q] Cell Signal

So, I'm in Minnesota. Currently running CM9. Before this, I was running JellyBam. Well, I woke up this morning with no signal whatsoever. Changed roms, then changed modems, still nothing. Now, we are supposed to be expecting a whiteout. This is my first time with a cellphone, so this may seem stupid to you, but to me its a legitimate question. Will the whiteout affect my cell signal? Could that be the problem?
Could be that the cell towers in ur area are without power and without backup generators. Happened in my area Christmas week when we had a winter storm.

That would seem to be it. Everyonce in a while, I get a little signal, but not enough to place a call or anything. Luckily, I get out of here tomorrow, right before the whiteout hits where we are at. Hopefully when I get back near south I will have service.
Good deal.
Yeah we had spotty edge of edge service for a few days...:banghead: but all is good now.

[Q] Signal strength, dropped calls

I have had a slight issue with call quality and dropping calls sense ive gotten this phone. I love absolutely everything about it but, when I make calls sometimes the other party cannot hear me, or the call will simply drop entirely. I have two phones, the Sprint G3 and the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. So far the Nexus still gets a better signal. I'm just a bit baffled, I have tried updating the PRL's and that helped slightly. Also im located in the Ogden Utah area. Anyone else have similar issues? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Try turning off Voice Enchantment in Call Settings.
I heard that helped some people.

Another thing you can try is set network to LTE/CDMA. Or if you don't have LTE just use CDMA.
I know it's helped me in the past.
LG's don't have the best reception.

Sorry I haven't been on in a few days. Turning it off did help with people not being able to hear me from time to time. But the random disconnects have still be an issue.
