I was wondering if there is anyway to interop unlock this phone atm,

Hi all,
i know there are many threads of unlocking lumia 800 or 710, but i am confused by reading these, they seems identical but having a little bit difference. i am new to lumia and also new to rooting. i dont want to ruin my lumia so i want you to help me in telling which is the best rooting method for my lumia 710,
here is my lumia detail,
Software: WP 7.5,
OS version 7.10.8779.8
bootloader version 7.33.0.0
if there is something else need to tell ask me,
and after rooting it will i be able to update it to 7.8 (when available),

I recently bought a lumia 800 and I am trying to unlock the bootloader to install custom roms but I can't really find any proper anwers or guides anywhere. I have had android phones in the past and always installed custom roms to those so have a little but of knowledge with messing around with phones. My lumia is on the nokia DLoad bootloader so I need to change to the qualcomm version but I can't find a guide anywhere to tell me how to do it and some threads have information there but then the links they have to the rom files are always dead. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to how to sort this?

and probably some credits. As far as I know there is no other way.
Chrisw1991, U can't find or you just didn't search? On this forum is a lot of post about this method. Also you can find this info on many other sites.
About credits - as i Know you don't need buy credits. Just box and dongle. Easier, cheapier and better way is find service when specialist will do it for You.

U can unlock bootloader on some lumia 800's but unlock is only for the lumia 800 those have hardware rev no. 2.4(i think cuz i m a 710 user).just go to lumia 800 section and there is a pinned thread for nand access for lumia 800
see and read that thread carefully before doing anything..the thread is for some lumia 800 ...check if you got ur luck....happy modding...

yes i've unlocked bootloader but am using lumia 710...

I was wondering has there been an update on unlocking lumia devices with the Nokia DLOAD bootloader.
I'm actually on my second Lumia 800 ( the first one being a preproduction model i got as a gift from nokia, and the second a shop bough lumia).
The first lumia i had had the Qualcomm bootloader and i was able to flash custom firmware to the device.
The second lumia i have has the Nokia DLOAD bootloader, and this is where i'm running in to issue's.
I can't seem to find anyway to debrand device.
It's currently branded Vodafone, and want the branding removed.
Anybody have any idea's or information on how to get this done?
DLOAD cannot be rooted so cant do a sim unlock too.
your stuck with it for now..and dont raise hopes for an unlock for DLOAD..pretty dead with the dev for that :/

There was a kind of exploit that was discovered but sadly just on the 710.
It was discovered on 800 , but it was an older make of 800 which had qualcomm
somone found the right osbl so it was possible to unlock 710 too...

hi. you can debrand a dload lumia using nokia care suit. to do that you download the unbranded firmware using navfirm and insted of puting in rm801 folder put in rm817 but dont rename the firmware. than in product support tool uncheck automatic product selection than open product and select rm-817 , them programing/recovery click on update list than with lumia turned of click on start and connect the usb cable to pc pressing only the vol up key.
if you need a more detail "tutorial" just say, but be i dont recommend doing this if lumia was sim unlocked by code as it will locked again and you will need to put the code again

hi. uhh sorry sir..but are u sure about this? i mean i struggled so hard for an unlock for my lumia 800..if its a sure fire.then ill go for it ..thanks a load in advance

im sure you can debrand and downgrade or upgrade the firmware im dead mode because thats how i didit but if the unlock your talking about is sim unlock it will not unlockit quite the contrary it will LOCKIT if it as bean unlock like as happened to me xD
Hi, I have a Nokia Lumia 800 that has the Qualcomm bootloader and would like to flash it to WP 7.8 using the files available on navifirm. Is there any way I could do this without loosing my Qualcomm bootloader? I've searched around but haven't been able to find a definite answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
