The "H" icon On Top Is More Than 3G ??

So i wanted to know if the "H" means more than the icon of 3G that sometimes appears up ^^^

Yes it does. The H+ icon u see indicates that you are g getting connected @ hspa+ speeds which are higher than plain 3g speeds.

Your connected to hsdpa, not hsdpa+. The regular vibrant cannot receive hsdpa+. Hsdpa is faster then 3g, but still slower then hsdpa+.

This is basically correct. The issue is 2 things:
1- having the icon that recognizes the Hsdpa connection and
2- The tower/tower software updated to send send the signal.
This is why in some areas you do not get the H but just 3G and E but as they update all towers this will be everywhere

3G data running pretty slow

same trick like yours 2g plan but i use it on 3g network...now i am getting constant speed of 200kbs
i can download at 100/kbs without any boost's and this is when i use it as wireless teather
Its your carrier (possibly)..if you have T-Mobile once you pass 2gb/5gb, the speed caps out and speeds are slower...sprint is the only US carrier to have unlimited data without charging you extra money to get more speed..the 3g turbocharger tweak works ( I think).
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
I get constant 250-340 kb/ssec without turbo charge .and using idm i get 450 kb/sec.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
3g turbo charger tweak does not work. Whenever I try this tweak the data stops working.

Bad signal from base stations - low speed in data transfer.

[Help Me]Indian users only

Hey, I want to change my carrier because airtel 3G is expensive and 2G gives me only 50-60 kbps speed though 3G gives me about 2Mbps.. The bad thing that Airtel did after launching 3G was that 2G speeds were reduced from 250kbps to 50kbps. They did it just because they want people to use 3G , I want to know your experience, and please suggest me which carrier(2G) should I opt for to get at least 150kbps speed ?
I suggest you to buy a tata docomo
Activate 2g schemes and select 3g network
Then you will get more than 200kbps and 100 ping

I don't understand what you said above. If you mean selecting the network then yes I have selected my home network. But it doesn't prevent automatically selection of the roaming network. Sometimes it selects home network, sometimes it select the roaming network and sometimes it shows that the selected network is not available. After all thanks for your reply. Any help in this case!

I m using Vodafone 3G, but i m facing problems while using 3g. I mean whenever there is slight network problem in 3g, it shuffles to 2g, and this one is quite annoying. Is there any way to keep 3g mode always (wcdma instead of gsm/wcdma) ??? That to in stock rom ??? Or I need to use any rom custom rom ???
Answers will be really appreciated..
