[Q] Problem running Clockwork 5.8.1.5 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I got a problem while upgrading from one Cyanogen Nightly to another. I downloaded the new Nightly and started into the recovery.
When I had to answer my other phone, my cat "touched" the S II and I didn't see what it hit. Now it just keeps counting up a number. Anyone any idea what this is and if I can stop it safely somehow?
Thanks in advance!
Thanatos

Only time I get this is when I'm in temp touch recovery and I click restart recovery it gives me counter.
Yes its safe to reset.

Thanks a lot! I was a bit worried there... Especially when it was still counting this morning. But now I'm a bit curious. Do you know what it actually does?

ARM hardware is unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on the perspective... far less power-hungry and complex) not standarized as are normal x86/x86_64 computers.
So as the others already said, it won't work across different hardwares.
Yes you can ! Flash by odin. Don't forget to disconect the cable in the middle of the process to avoid soft brick.
To anyone just reading the first and last post of a thread: THAT WAS SARCASM.

Hi guyz. My phone showed up a OTA. It's only 21,99 MB. I'm running Alliancerom 6.1 XWLS8. On the attachment there's no 21,99 MB written, but it is!
Question is: Can I install it On Alliancerom 6.1? Will it brick my phone?

that would be the update to LSD reckon it to be ok to install but would recomend downloading and installing alliance 7.1 LSD based that will stop the update. As its an install of an updated rom a wipe is not completely unnecessary but still recommended.
Don't forget the golden rule......backup backup backup

A little help or explanations

So I have recently installed CM 10.1.3 - Android 4.2.2 on my p760 and the rom is from get.cm so is a official stable version but I have a problem and I don't know how to resolve it. The rom is super fast and I love that but there is this problem

the nfc service keep staying on and I can't stop it from here
because when I unclick and exit this menu, even when I enter back is still on. The battery is still good on this rom but why not have more battery? Can someone please tell me what to do to fix this? Is there any patch mod or something?

a reboot should solves the issue
Ok now I look like a stupid person. I'm sorry for this thread and thank you dear friend for your help. That worked.
Another question now that I have this thread open : what kernel do you recommend for this rom or for any rom for p760? A good balance between power and battery so something like the stock kernel.

Mine does the exact same thing. A fix would be nice, if possible, to avoid having to become a cryptographer to figure some of them out.

Galaxy S5 Storage full -10000 MB?? Help me.

Today, I decided to unroot and factory reset my phone. When it booted up again, I noticed that I can't take any pictures or download music. I couldn't even take screenshots of the warning message so I had to do it with my dad's phone.
The phone says I have no storage space when I obviously do. How do I fix this?
I've tired googling this problem but I couldn't find much.
sorry for the big images...

Hi,
A similar thing happened to me. Try going into setup, scroll down to System, click on the storage icon. You'll have to wait for a minute or so for it to be updated. Have a look at the Cached data row.
When I was having problems, this had grown very large. Click on it and clear the cache.
