hy folk,
is it possible to compile CM9 (or similar) for people with rooted ICS-Leak?
if no, why?
else, is there anyone working on this?
i would like to support....
lordvampire
Yes, it's possible. But it's better to wait for the official ICS because they will have to compile it again for it. But there is the first Black Widow ICS release working on ICS leak, only for cdma. But Black Widow is much better than CM9...
there is a script to get cdma roms working on gsm.. so is it possible???

This gsm patch is only working on GB Kernel based Roms. I wouldn't try it on ICS leaks...

Well unless someone tweaks that script for the patch to work on the leak.
Very pity... Coz i dont think Motorola will release soon...

Are there any special steps needed to go from Gummy ICS to any Gingerbread rom? I've been having too many issues with ICS and need to go back to a stable rom, but don't want to mess anything up. Can I just use CWM like normal and install a GB rom without any problems?
You have to flash fastboot gb rom with rsd. Or try black widow rom. I have no issues with it, just the hw acceleration doesn't work. But it doesn't matter, I have the best battery lifetime with it and it's very fast and stable.

You can't use JY's Roms on an Leak. They're based on the GB Kernel, so you'll brick!
There's no working GSM Patch for ICS based Customs till now.

Oh yeah. The new leaks r based on a new kernel. So yeah, we'be got to wait. But I've heard there's a T-MOBILE Germany leak. But I guess that cant be used in retail handsets.

Because no one love the gsm so we can have a native aokp or cm9 <.<
You can donate your GSM Device to one of the Devs and I'll bet there will be more Development for GSM.
Most of them use CDMA RazR, so they can't test on GSM. And without testing they wouldn't release anything, I think.

hi yesterday i flashed the leaked ics rom for my razr and everything works fine but i found out that wifi tethering doesn't work probably and i want to get back to gingerbread can i ???????
Yeah, go into store and buy you an new RazR
J/k
But if you're on an GSM Leak or an actual CDMA, you can't go back to GB.

Before making anything, you can go back only if you have the .79 leak or previus (if you are cdma) if not you can't go back. Flashing a gb fastboot file will only brick your razr

That was my question too... If you ran the 75 or 79 leak, you're okay. Anything above that is not Fastbootable...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27167512
But read this thread and the instructions carefully!!! If you're RazR isn't the right for this Region, don't do it.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS , THINK ABOUT IT AND READ AGAIN!!

Strange. Have you tried to download the roms again? Maybe some error during first download.
Was the cm9 the stable release from cyanogen mod team?

Hey guys,
I'm searching someone who can help . I've made from the Rom Dump an Full Rom,now I want to test if it works. I would have test it on my own,but I havn't got a OneX+ or one here of my friends.
I would upload the Rom tomorrow, soif someone could help me testing if it works,it would be great.
(The reason why I've made an Rom out of the Backup is that want to use it for porting use.)
Thx in Advance,
Ardian

Both the AT&T and International device use the Tegra 3+ chipset. They just have diffrent radio H/W and obviously a diffrent kernel. I have an internation device, if im about when you are ready i would be happy to test and give you feedback.
Ok,sounds great I will as soon as i can send you an link
For compiling I used the Rom Dump from baadnewz,so i think it should be the International Device because Insertcoin is also just for international.
