[Q] is there a rom with this feature? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

have you seen on SGS3 the feature that avoid to turn off the screen when for example we are reading something?is there a rom with this one implemented for SGS2?I'm falling in love for this!

Not sure what feature is that our how it works....
On S2 either the application have a option to keep awake/ keep screen on
Or put the sleep time to more than 2 minutes.

I think someone is currently porting the 'smart stay' from sgs3 to our sgs2.

it is impossible for three reasons:
1) our hardware supports only two touches while g5 hardware has three touches and probably support more touches
2) samsung galaxy 3 does not have inversion axis problem our phone yes and this
is a hardware problem. even if we can port it it will be a shame on the screen.
3) we can't acces the melfas firmware to modify the problem

If you need the whole display covered and invisible, just place a book on it or something. What on earth would be the use for 5 touch on this tiny screen?

To end this pointless debate - the hardware supports dual touch and that is it. It is enough for sane people. If you are an ET and can control the phone with this small screen with more fingers, go port the HW - buy another phone and stop bugging here with nonsensical requests.

I do not think it is wise to flash software to an SGH-I727 which is made for i9300 hardware. It's different hardware, different drivers, etc.

Is the Galaxy S3 Black version really the same?

Kind of a stupid question for some of you xD but I just want to be sure that I'm going to be able to get all the ROMs i can get with the normal Galaxy S3 pebble blue. Is it going to be the same?
This would be the link I'll be using http://www.expansys-usa.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-black-unlocked-16gb-238383/ to buy it!
I just want to make sure there wasn't any hardware/software changes to the black version. Obviously, there shouldn't be but I don't want to go wrong for buying this one!

Yup it is the exact same. GT–I9300. you can flash all of the roms here without any issues whatsoever.

thanks! its between this and the nexus 4
But it appears as if it is the US version with the dual core and 2GB of RAM.
So be www l aware of that when flashing ROMs

[Q]

Hi all. I would like to know whether it is possible launch of multi-window from galaxy note 2 to our device?
Nothing is impossible, I'm not sure the code is in the leaked JB ROM but I'm betting that it's unlikely we will see this feature on the S2.
GTBH, I'm not that fussed as I don't think the screen is big enough.

Problem with papago

I recently switched phones with my brother, my Sensation for this phone. However, I'm having trouble with Papago m9. It was working on my Sensation but it keeps force closing on this phone when initializing. I already tried moving the NAVISEA folder to internal memory but to no avail. Please help me, I'm in need of Papago next week for travel.
