Hi,
is there an app to see what GPU frequencies the phone uses ?
Like CPU Spy but for GPU.
Thx
no dint find any there r apps to test gpu...

Hi, first of all i would like to know if there is any uncomplicated way to overclock the gpu (and cpu) of the x10i (adreno 200) or is it even possiple?
My x10i is rooted, xrecovery is installed as well as the fps uncap (54 fps). (but i dont want to unlock the bootloader!)
Also i would like to be able to set the cpu frequency as i want it to be, which (free) app would you recommend, should be stable and reliable (should maybe also show the current frequency)?
If thats possible, it wouldnt be bad being able to set the gpu speed/frequency as well.
Until now I've found cpu tuner and antutu cpu master...
Thanks in advance guys
First u will need a custom kernel that supports OC, then u can use no frills cpu master (free from market) to overclock
OK thanks, but as i read in some other threads you cant really go much past 1100 mhz (cpu) because it will get unstable, so i just want to set the cpu frequency i want (so just underclocking or permanently stick it to 998mhz).
Which (free) app is best for this?

Dont know about free but if youre willing to spend a little, SetCpu from the market works wonders

No frills cpu is free
So then i'm gonna try no-frills cpu control, but why is it better than antutu cpu master (free), or is it even better(?), both of them got an average of about 4,5 stars....
I've also seen that antutu cpu master (free) has advanced options with gpu control, but i dont really understand what can be done in these settings....there are no listed frequencies or anything.....(https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antutu.CpuMasterFree&hl=de)
I would say that other cpu apps may have more options but no frills is simple and elegant. As a normal user we dont need more than this.
Just my opinion
Works perfectly and has a nice statistic about the frequency(s) used
If u search xda forum properly u can find set CPU for free as a treat for xda members from the dev.

Thanks but i'm happy with no-frills cpu control at the moment, has everything i need:
- full control over the current frequency
- widget showing the current frequency
- statistic about frequency(s) used (total and last 5 seconds)
- option to set my desired frequency right after booting
So for now thats all i need, maybe when i want to overclock it a bit (future, not now), then i'll use setcpu.
Whenever I check in quadrent standard system info, always says that current cpu freq is 1024mhz...I shutdown all background app with advanced task killer and it;s same frequency...
I remember earlier with old FW it was about 254mhz when no apps running...\
Anu answer???
Hi,
maybe the display is wrong !?
Did you try another app ?
I like Android System Info, cause it shows overall CPU Load...
Greetz from Germany
Try 'cpu spy' from google play store to monitor your cpu usage.
use gl benchmark its a good app for bechmarking
Hi I've installed rom that overclock my lovely xperia mini cpu to 1400 ghz, i am afraid from this so i quickly searched for app to configur cpu and i found cpu master pro and changed my cpu to 249-1017 ghz and choose on boot when i restart i see the cpu is 1400 ghz!! Until lazy cpu master works and change cpu to 249-1017 ghz nearly like sony
I am afraid of this period between reboot and cpu master start.. i think it is less than 1 min but i have to be carefull
How can i change my cpu to be all time like what i want ?
try app set cpu, that can control ur cpu clock
or you can reflash ur old rom
Hii
I am currently using neat rom lite..and siyah 3.3d kernel..
However i am having some problem..Even though i get the option of OCing my cpu to 1400 through extweaks.. I am unable to do any overclocking with other apps like set cpu or sys tuner..They still show my max cpu freq as 1200..
Also today i scaled my cpu from 800-1400mhz for playing a heavy demanding game( the dark knight rises) and after about 40 min of gameplay..i found out from cpu spy..that 39 min my cpu stayed on 800mhz...while for only 30s it stayed at 1.4 ghz.. why sooo?
what am i doing wrong? can anyone shed some light please
thanks

well even if u set 1.4g also the same will be reached only when the cpu demand for the same is created by any app and since for most of the games 800mhz is more than sufficeient.
also over clocking CPU will in long run does hamper ur performance rather than improving the same, and also u may find issues like Random reboot or freezes creeping up
try using extweaks only and uninstall other set cpu apps..

actually i want to use set cpu so i can tweak the governer settings..but really i dunno whats happening..it doesnt let get me past 1200 and even if i OC to 1400 using extweaks..it doesnt OC to 1400 because set cpu doesnt let it do so...
And comon..the dark knight rises is an open world game with awesome graphics..how can it not utilize the max processor..i cant believe it wont need more than 800mhz..coz it stutters a bit..
Update your kernel and extweaks app.
SetCPU app is original (from GPlay) or ripped from Internet?
whenever i raise the clock above 1200mhz it crashes but in setcpu it can go till 1488mhz
so how to set it to 1488mhz without crashing or even 1300 or 1350mhz
Can you undervolt?
Yes you can undervolt
by the way undervolt is setting your cpu clock below the original
but how do i overclock it above 12000mhz

Maybe you need OC Kernels for getting the overclocking capability for the processor.
but no one is there yet so can anyone build it
