Hi guys.
On CM7 I like very much one feature - controlling music (previous/next track) by pushing longer vol +/- buttons. Is this a way to have this option added onto stock Samsung ROM's? Thanks for help!

no port is needed, they just need activating. But no point till a final product is made as it means going through the prosess every time.

yeah it works on activating
but we already have hardware buttons for simulation..
so activating those would take up space on our screen and for keyboard things i really don't think its worth including

but my girlfriend has also galaxy ace but its broken home key is missing and thetouch keys dont work anymore . she had it dropped while riding bike

i want to go back to a stock rom and i want an option from the cm7. like you others know,when you are calling someone or when you speak with someone you can easy close the call by pressing the power button.so here it is my question..how can i do this in a stock rom?

The main problem is, that the SGA is not popular enough to attract capable devs to bring this feature to our device.
We already have the source code from Samsung. The only minor but nonetheless very big problem we've to face right now, is to find some experienced devs to invest their time to dig into the code and patch it. ...

Do you have a link to cdesais statement, where I can read it up and maybe follow his explanations?
If it is not "soooo much work" to do, I'll may give it a try. Because it will be handy to test drive new roms without flashing and reflashing the current productive system.

I think it's not really possible to make dual boot on Ace because we don't have a bootloader (only a very simple that only loads and run the boot.img, we can not change nothing in it). Only it's possible to make dual boot for rom's that use the same kernel.
I am not sure but i think nexus s has it bcoz meego is also ported to nexus s!

But only from internal will never be possible because of the low memory !!!
