It would not be cheaper if it was available in stores in Romania. And they are probably going to be bring it much later or not at all. so I was really happy I was able to buy it from expansys.

I think you mixed with £460.80 wich is actually €575.06 on clove.co.uk
Wait like 2 weeks. Expasys got overprice and it will down if they dont sell in past 2 weeks. They order the evo 3d and they cant sell it soo the price drop for 280€ until they sell it lol

Lets see and hope.
Maxx is more or less the same as Razr plus larger battery.
So i dont think larger battery and demand of phone, should drive the price so high.
When S3 comes out and some other phones (panasonic, sony etc) the price should go down..

No. Euros. With no VAT included. There was 26euros worth of courier included.

I just want to clarify....The phones being sold from these websites are unlocked correct? So I can just plug in a SIM from a service provider and be good to go, correct?
I currently live in the U.S. but will be living in the Netherlands starting this summer so I am trying to pick out a phone.

$250 or $300 is still a rip off weather it has ICS or not! Beside the way ics has been on other devices and from some reviews I don't really think its gonna be anything spectacular. Gonna be another "I waited this long for this?!" Type of deal. I really don't think its gonna be much of a game changer

Depending on where you work you can get the Note at a killer price if they offer an equipment discount. Mine was super cheap.

If you have unlimited data Amazon will not grandfather you in.

It will be out in UK end of next week (18th May) if I recall correctly. I know both Clove and Handtec will be selling it and have been taking preorders for awhile already.
Clove etc Bit expensive though... I got my used RAZR for £240 I can't spend another 200 for a larger battery . I was hoping that the exchange rate may give me a better price. Any networks taking them on?

I'd recommend that you get the tmo version and not the international version unless you want to be stuck with 2g data.

im not planning to get any sort of data plan so it would be best for me to stick with the international version.

Well there are two options for you. people have good reviews for both expansys-USA.com and for negrielectronics.com
You also have option to import from UK from websites like clove.co.uk
All these above websites will have atleast two weeks of lead time due to tons of pre orders. Average cost its just under seven hundred bucks.
If you want to spend some extra money you can get it from Ebay as well. Average cost here is about right hundred.

Last year Walmart had the GS2 (i777) in stock on release day. Incidentally I'll buy there on the 5/3 when my upgrade eligibility returns.
Just make sure to stop by an AT&T store after and have someone check your account if you're trying to keep unlimited data.

just as a heads up if you call at&t they will probably allow you to upgrade early. My upgrade was not available until May 8th and they told me I can upgrade. You will have to wait until Friday when the phone is released because they can't do preorders
Wal-Mart associate here. Good luck getting any new release phone. They are shipped my manufacturer at will and we cannot order them. Also replenishable stock on contract phones is almost non existant. I would have purchased mine from my employer early but the stock is just not there and never is. Wait a few weeks.

Because they get incentives from carriers for new contracts and renewals which they can pass on in the form of device discounts.
Does Walmart charge your card at the time of purchase or when it ships?
Also, do you think this price will be available in store on Friday?
