Hi every1.
Can anyone mod default Xperia lockscreen?
Xperia's that get ICS got their lockscreen changed.
There is Unlock on the left and Camera on the right slider.
I found that very usefull.
I can't found any app in /system/app that is lockscreen, so I think that it's part of Home.apk
Help please.

i thing you can found it in framework-res.apk
I have tried to modify it, but couldn't find correct files for the lockscreen. Looked through SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk and some other files.
My idea was to check the .jar files in /system/framework, but since ICS is around the corner, I better wait for the update.

I have ICS firmwares myself also, but I am too busy to deal with it.
Also, ICS is around the corner, just wait for the update.
If you can't wait, search from Market for other lockscreen apps, like GoLocker, Widgetlocker and some others.
Had them, but they got on my nerves.
Oh well, gonna stick to default until ICS gets released and ported (prerooted and etc...)

Could anyone make the digital clock widget that comes with the official ICS release transparent please? (the small 2x1 widget).
There's one on the play store called clock for ics or something like that.

Strange It is working fine with me. I took the apk from the ICS Final release, Nordic version and made it.

I copied it into system, changed permissions, then copied to system/app. Rebooted and it doesn't appear in the widget list.
Perhaps the download is corrupt?
May be! But if the beta one working good then it's good news.
On some apps between beta and Nordic, they don't work on the final version. Few of them will not show up at all.

As far as I know the Nordic version is the final and official one. And after flashing the Nordic ftf, I have repaired the device using SUS, so that also makes sure that I have the Official ICS release. Cause it downloaded the whole firmware from Sony Server and repaired with that.
And i took the apk from that.
the beta one is working for me on fxp127.
BUT: could anyone make it clickable? so that the alarm can be set after clicking on the widget (like it is in original sony roms)? would be great!
is there any possibilities to make our XS statusbar transparent?
and also with battery percentage of course
thanks
Probs just grab the .png files from the miui framework which has transparent bar.

Which file, plz?
Google is your friend:
http://mobilecon.info/transparant-status-bar-in-android.html
So using this dirty tutorial, make the .png files transparent yourself and place back in the apk then reflash or find the equivalent files in say the Miui framework-res.apk file, extract them, then add them to your stock framework-res.apk file using 7zip/winrar etc and flash/copy back.
Will take you 5 mins and teach you much about theming any aspect of your framework with out having to recompile applications.

Yes, tried it but doesn't work that way on Xperia. Seems that systemui has something to do with it.
Also tried the files from MIUI Rom, didn't work either.
Ah, crap.
I've heard of ways to do it on Gingerbread but not on ICS.
I've noticed using Miui and having a clear status bar but then using another launcher causes the status bar to go black.

It's not just changing some pngs, there is smali edits and some value edits to drawables.xml. I made it for CM9, but I did not manage to edit incoming notification color, so it did not look so nice. (notification_header_bg in drawables.xml. I guess it needs a smali edit, but I did not find it..). And in stock Sony firmware the mod messes up the whole statusbar.
so until now there is no Transparant Status Bar for XS , right ?
i miss my transparant status bar on my ray ... :crying: :crying:

Yes it is, in MIUI Rom. But I totally don't like MIUI.
How does MIUI get clear status bar even when an ICS build? What's so special about MIUI?

Hey guys.
So, I installed a Jelly Bean font (Roboto Light). It worked at half, as half of the system still uses the Sony font... For example: Tapatalk titles, Settings app, and some other apps... So, anything we can do to change this?

I found it somewhere here in XDA. i can reupload it for you if you want to.
Was more thinking about if you were using an app to install it or manually changing system/fonts/. If you were doing it manually be sure you replaced all necessary fonts.

System UI use SoMabold font! So u'd better replace that fonts with SoMaBold!

Hi, just wanted to share this ICS inspired modded status bar including 15 scrollable toggles (flashlight also) for our gingerbreaded Xperias (tested on .42 Arc and .42 Pro) . Compatible with swipe to remove notifications.
I attach also framework-res.apk file which matchs perfectly with the UI and the quick pannel settings app to manage the toggles.
As usual copy files to system folder with any root explorer and set correct permissions:
SystemUI.apk and Quickpanelsettings.apk to /system/app folder and set permissions as rw-r-r
Framework-res.apk (extract it from .rar file) to /system/framework and set permissions as rw-r-r
** 2013/01/14 **
Updated files. Minor improvements.
Known bugs: (edited) none.
Credits: Base files are from OmenHTX's JellyBread ROM, so as I only edited and changed some images credits should go to him. I also used some parts of FlorinXstyle's gin2ics theme and pajoneer's xperia arc big pack
Hope you like it!

Updated files in first post. (minor graphical improvements).
it may have been missed, but "adb push" should be done in deploying this, especially the systemUI and framework-res. if done via rootexplorer, once the systemui gets overwritten you can't have the phone respond well.
i also noticed the stock look of the time and signal meter was changed to a stock android look, its ok but then i prefer the sony stock look. the battery status in % did not appear as well. also, when the notification was swiped out, status bar force closes, so either it restarts itself back or won't reappear anymore.
hence i reverted back. i actually just want a percentage battery on status bar that's why i tried this.
thanks for the work nonetheless
You are right. A zip loadable from recovery would be better but unfortunately my skills dont allow me to do such thing...sorry.
Anyway root explorer method works ok, did you copy both systemui.apk and framework-res.apk? Should work.
Regarding second issue you should change your framework.jar file in framework folder and put one who allows swipe to delete notifications.
Try with this one. Remember permissions

All icons changed except for battery. I wonder of this can be corrected with frameworks.jar added. Will do testing in a bit. Will post an update.
Btw, there was a looping FC error after overwriting systemui.apk but fixed after reboot.

Yes, battery is on framework

Just as i thought. I haven't downloaded the framework yet but does that have changes to the icon?
If not, what is the script to change battery icon? Not really that familiar with the codes.

While trying to replace my stock lock screen with a custom one.
I deleted the UxpNxtLockScreen.apk file placed in the /system/app folder.
This should make my lock screen go away. But instead what happened is that now there is a new lock screen (see the attachment) instead of that.
Im confused as to how this is happening.
Anyone who has also experienced this?

but if you try make a nandroid backup first (and back hope.apk incase you can still use device)
I doubt if there is a way to take Nandroid backups on Sola.
So wont touch the home.apk
