Hi I flashed my phones ics to gb and gb to ics two times but it was okay. I flashed again today my phone to 42 and my ram seems 210 mb. I dont understand this. I always flash with the same fw and it no happened before. My ram seemed 320 mb total but why now seems 210 mb total?
I can see 335 mb with the other programs but I cannot clean more ram than 120 mb.. Once I can clean 220 mb ram but now I cannot.. help me please!

there isnt a major difference..!!
Hmmm..
Since i had to reload 2.1 stock and it flashed .54, my phone has completely given in..
Lagging & overheating for nothing.
Before on .55 CM3.16 v5 was stable.. now it just lags and destroys batteries..
I even re-flashed with seus to be 100% sure.
I love this phone.. but she makes me cry.
Here's the odd thing... it's a x10i... why did it have 55 baseband?
That'll be why SEUS flashed you to 54, it appears to be the latest one it'll put me onto. Though I had no problem jacking it up to 58, it was going backwards to <52 I had issues with
Hi guys,
I've learned alot from this forum. I wanted to speed up my Neo V so I just finished Unlocking my phone and flashed to XNEO kernel V2 for overclocking capability up to 1.6ghz.
I downloaded setcpu and started testing.. Now the problem is my phone freezes and reboots itself when using a freq. higher than 1.4ghz.
I've seen ppl overclock this phone to 1.9-2ghz? I know that this is too much for daily use but i really want to fly 1.6ghz stable.
What is the cause of this? Do i have a bad cpu? Do i have a bad kernel? Or do i need to upgrade the voltage a bit? how can i do this?
Thank in advantage!

Voltage settings are:
mv Freq.
925 576
950 652
1050 768
1000 806
1050 921
1100 1017
1150 1113
1150 1209
1200 1305
1250 1401
1275 1516
1300 1612
What changes could i make to have cpu at 1.6ghz?
Is it still safe for daily use?

Well these actually look good. From here there are two obvious options:
1.It's faulty hardware, not much you can do about it
2.It's a bad kernel, so try switching to a different one for testing purposes.
Let me know how it went
unlock your bootloader and try another kernel
Thank u for replying! Im gonna try a diffrent kernel when im getting home tomorrow. Maybe someone can recommend me a solid kernel for a neo v with stock ics 4.0.4? (bootloader unlocked)

I tried another kernel and my neo is flying @ 1.6ghz without problems thank u all for replying!
Still got some questions though..
1)Is 1.6ghz still pretty safe for daily use? Im using smartassV2 governor so it wont run at 1.6 ghz the whole time.
2) Since i upgraded to ICS most of my games are lagging and some don't even function properly. I think don't function properly couse they are emulated in a gingerbread environement to run in ICS. So I want to return to gingerbread OS.
DO I just have to flas the stock gingerbread rom with flashtool and afterward flash a compatible kernel for gingerbread for overclock?

Clock speed really depends on your usage. For a gaming phone, 1.6 is pretty decent I guess. I have gone up till 1.8 for a couple days without any issues.
Regarding downgrading, if you want stock then simply flash the GB FTF file with flash tool. Or else, flash a GB kernel and then install your fav'te ROM from CWM.
Thanks for replying
I flashed GB, rerooted using CWM, flashed a solid kernel.
My phone is now in top condition lol. thanks all!
I lost my .pds file after unlocking the Atrix, and had screen issues (cap buttons unresponsive), but solved the problem with a .pds that I found here on XDA, extracted from a Dev Kit.
The problem is that now I only have 290 MB of RAM in TOTAL, I barely turn on the phone, and have just 100 MB free. The phone is really slow, even more than my old Defy. What can I do to recover all the RAM?
Sorry fot my english.
Did you try applying the RAM fix?
Also mention what ROM you're using (quite a critical piece of information here).

You mean This Fix how much ram does the atrix has?. I can apply the fix whatever ROM I am using?.
You still said nothing about your system so I can't really help you much.
Yes, that fix. It's originally made for Froyo but it should be safe to apply on GB too. I don't know about ICS/JB though, and I know even less about stock Moto firmware, so beware.
If anything goes wrong, flashing your boot.img should get it back to normal.
u just have to install new rom and everything will go fine ....remember to install official stock rom first....here is the link
I'm using NottachTrix 1.3.1, but also happens with stock ATT ROM. The problem does not happen with TopSmarts (CM7 based), but i want tu use a Blur ROM (because of the webtop). The amount of RAM in CM7 is about 750MB, and in stock ROM, 280MB.
Flash the ramfix via recovery and that'll fix your issue. It doesn't happen with CM7 or other CM7 based roms because the kernel on those already contain that fix.

It worked fine! Thank you very much! Now i can use the Webtop without the "Low Memory" message. Thanks!
anyone can make a custom rom and stock kernel (Android 4.++) for x8 ?? For the X8 user which cant unlock bootloader
nothing will function properly. plus it will be laggy as hell. stock kernel has very little RAM (about 165MB) but custom kernels can provide up to 185MB of RAM. hope you get what i mean.

oo... thank you ...im newbie I dunno it... so every android 4.++ Rom is only for phone that can unlock bootloader only???
Hey guys... I have neo v, rooted, installed cwm, f/w .587 with locked bootloader. Sorry if there is ANY OTHER SAME POST but it is waste of time to search 51! pages of topics, this is what i believe...
What i want to ask is:
1) if i can flash every ram i want from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313445&highlight=rom , even GBs rom and
2) if i flash different kernel, will there be any problem with the root and the cwm??
3) should i do something different so that my phone will be even smoother? ( Now i have 250 MB free phone memory and 80-100 MB free Ram but still some lagging... )
THANKS FOR EVERY ANSWER!
So u mean ull make thread for every question u want to ask to save ur time? Please use ur brain a bit... Help us keep xda clean.. Nd xda does have a search button so please use it.
U have a locked bootloader so u cant flash custom kernels. So if ur on ics rom u wont be able to flash gb roms. Flash only ics custom roms if ur on ics.. Nd a custom rom will give u free ram.. Nd lag doesnt depend on amount of free ram .. Only if ur ram is below 60 mb u need to worry.
Please press thanks if I helped and next time dont make a thread for such questions. Ask in general chat its sticky thread
