Hey!!! Can you please tell me how you unlocked the boot loaders, as i am not able to follow the instructions given on sony`s website. I am not able to select the driver`s folder. Can you tell me how to do that.

Is this still true??! No normal root method for the Sola? You have to unlock the bootloader? That's crazy...I'm sure the S has root...why not try the same root tool...I'm about to get a new Sola and want root access...can't even use Titanium Backup without root! I'M voiding warranty for that!!!

[Q] CM9 on Xperia U st25a

Hi, I'm from El Salvador and I got a question before flashing Cyanogenmod 9 on my phone.
My Xperia U is already rooted and bootloader unlocked, is it safe to flash CM9 kumquat on a st25a? I only found install guides for the st25i but not for the american version.
Thanks for the help.

Safe is a very vague term. Of Course, when you're trying to use custom ROMs like CM, there is always a risk BUT, you can always revert back to stock using flash tool. Before you go about installing the roms, just make sure you have all your necessary drivers for flashtool and adb ; fastboot ready INCASE something goes wrong.

You are right, safe is a really vage term xD
What I really want to know is if there could be any compatibility issues for flashing a CM9 Kernel on my st25a because in the CM Oficial site they only show the Xperia U st25i has the supported device but there is no reference to st25a.

I ve had the same problem once.
I didn t thinked much just re-rooted it.
u can also try rebooting your device or cleaning cache partition and davlik cache thru cwm.
Already I cleaned up but still not working which means I have to reroot it did I have to unlock bootloader once again?

It depends on rooting method... but I think once bootloader is unlocked u don t have to unlock it again.
just re root it and if your bootloader is unlocked it will stay unlocked for ever unless its locked again and did u upgraded you phone this might be the reason for root loss
No I did nothing

What exactly do we see in the screen capture?
Just press ALLOW.
use superSU is a great option. just install and allow superuser(your old junk) once to update binary with SuperSU and let SuperSU handle.the job well.
