On my Rezound not matter if I use Google or not call quality is horrible. Now I have sprint also and my nexus s isn't so bad.

I'm on latest firmware as well. My call quality is just fine. Not as good as sprints call quality though. But I don't need the best cal quality, I need internet that works so I have Verizon now

(Q) Why can't I open camera during call?

Is this typical on all of the roms? I was on a call and went to send my wife a picture of what I was looking at in messaging and got a popup saying can't open camera during call. Never really noticed it before but was wondering if it was the stock camera app or the phone. I'm on Saurom VI with Att fix.

Yes this is normal. Every android phone I have had works this way
Yes mine does the same thing.

stock camera does that but some of the cam aps from the market work just fine during a call

Cool, thanks to know. Seems kind of silly that I can't take a picture while I'm on the phone. I don't think the camera makes the earpiece work......lol

Not all of them work this way. The GSII did not and neither did the GSII SR. At least on the official ROMs I played with the camera worked during a call. I have not tried that on the Note.
What would be the logic of disabling the camera while on a call.?

That's what I thought. It's not like it needs the phone radio to open.

Its more about the resources that the phone uses while on a call and the camera. The are both huge ram hogs. And we know what happens when the system gets taxed too much.

Am I just slow

I got visual voice mail working on gb, is this anything new? I thought it was only an ics thing.

S5 Video audio upgrade???

My question is did Samsung finally make a phone that can actually be useful at a concert and record good quality sound from a video? Anything with loud bass looks great but sounds like being on the phone and the person on the other line is repeatedly blowing into their phone lol. Please I hope, I hate how iPhones have this up on galaxy's :banghead:

No problem here, is it more than one person? Maybe an issue on their side.
If not, try reverting back to ANCH or even ANE5 and see.

it may be from wifi calling.
Wifi calling disabled. I found another post on this issue seems to be a common problem

My unit works flawlessly. The sound is Cristal clear to me and to the listeners, even when I'm using WiFi calling

Calls are great for me, especially using HD voice. Are you on the latest software?
If it's on speaker I have the problem. With headsets or phone itself it works well.
