Took my phone out of my pocket today to notice a slight bend. I looks like right were the two covers meet. Was wondering if anyone else has maybe noticed this. I do keep my phone in my pocket all day but I don't think it should bend that easy. Let me know what you gentleman think.

There are so many OCD threads it's amazing. I'm not saying this one is. But, I would suspect this phone would bend VERY easily.
1) it's paper-thin
2) if you watch the YouTube video about how the aluminum was machined/milled, you see that aside from the lower half, the upper half is 2 very thin aluminum rails (sides) bridged by another super thin aluminum rail across top. So yes, thus will bend very easily. Aluminum is incredibly weak (I'm a machinist).

My appoligies Mr. Homeowner. It was a simple question that doesn't need a picture to answer. Unless you can't look at your phone and see if you notice a slight bend from being in your pocket. Looks like the whole phone has an arc to it from the side. I bent it back the other way and is better but can still see it.

It's a bend right were the two pieces come together at the red bar by kickstand. I said I would post pic when I got home. Then all the dumb stuff starts. Which always happens in here and give xda a bad rep. Just delete thread mod. No point suppose to be a community to discuss.

My EVO 3D screen is slightly turned clockwise (to the right). Its very slight but noticeable. When i look closely i can tell that the corners aren't lined up with the glass.
On top of that, ive noticed one dead pixel...
I have the $8 a month insurance. Do you think this constitutes bringing it in?

Yes bring it in. Now that you have noticed it, it will continue to bother you. I don't know when you got yours but if you are within your 30 days you can just swap it out. I had this problem and took mine to Sprint store and since I got mine by trading my ns4g for it they wouldn't swap it out. I called Sprint & explained my situation and ended up getting it replaced through tep. They sent me a new phone and that one was worse. Called them back & they sent me another and this one is perfect. If you can live with it and it won't bother you then there is no reason to try, but if you think it will drive you crazy now that you have noticed it, i say take it in. For me once I noticed it on mine it drove me crazy especially on a bright colored screen where it was noticeable.

So I went to go get my EVO 3D looked at cuz it was over heating and the "repair person" took my phone apart then put it back together and now my mic don't work,my camera button on the side don't work and my 3D switch don't work at all.. This person should not be working on phones if he don't know how to put them back together right the first time and have everything working when I go and pick it up now the person is gone and I have to wait til tomorrow to get it fix plus I'm not letting that person work on my phone again
If you live in Portland Or near 181st and halsey don't not go there to get repair don't

So I took my phone there to get looked at because it was overheating, The repair person took it apart and when he put it back together, The mic on my phone didn't work anymore, The camera button next to the 3D switch didn't work either and the 3D switch didn't work also..So pretty much he didn't even put it back together right

This phone is good but if I had to nitpic I have 2 things I wish I could change about it, the extruded camera section on the back (holy sht this is asking to be scratched) and the camera button that drags on my hand everytime I touch the phone (couldnt they have put the button on the top left instead??).

Yeah it's glass but for comparison, go up to your window and slide your finger around that, then do it to your phone's glass, there's the difference.
Also my phone fell and its glass shattered (first time I've EVER damaged a phone -.-) so before I shipped my phone out after its replacement came in, I did more drop tests to see if the glass was really that crappy. I dropped it onto marble floor (where it broke the first time) at least 7 times from different heights and with an already cracked screen, it didn't crack ANYMORE so I just got really unlucky the first time it fell, but I'm really impressed by the glass.
And the phone rocks too =p

I have yet to break a screen either, I use a otterbox defender and I'm considering removing the plastic from the case.. just to get to the glass LOL

Ok this is what you do. Get your phone. Put it in the microwave. MAKE SURE IT IS SCREEN UP. Set microwave to defrost. Watch the pretty colors. Remove phone. Let it cool. Viola, no more dust.

Thread locked due to non-senseness of replies so far, except for 1 (take it to the store). I am closing this before it becomes a larger flame.
First of all, I baby all of my gadgets like no other lol.
We got in a huge fight after a super extended happy hour and my phone went flying through a 1/4' thick glass vase, embedding itself into the wall. Never knew she could ninja star a phone that well.
Anyway I realized at that point that these phones are beasts! The bottom whole right side of the "chasis" shifted up a bit to the top. Bottom right corner is bent. Chip in the metal dead center at the top and a TINY nick in the gorilla glass.
So now the right side of the bezel doesnt sit flush with the screen anymore and that is about it.
I am super impressed by the strength of these bad boys. I was more upset that this is a launch day phone with hboot 1.4(not taking it to sprint to ruin my unicorn). In the end all is well and she will be paying for my Gnex when it comes out(when ever it does lol).

That's what happens in the "My super sweet 16" generation
Still works like a champ. Cams are still aligned properly. Speaker and everything still work with no problems. It just bothers the hell out of me seeing my phone like this(for the anal retentive).
Will def be keeping this as a backup though.

I agree. Substance abuse. Violent outburst. Making excuses for inappropriate behavior. I am going to guess trust issues somewhere in the mix too.
These things never get better. I had a girlfriend like this once. After she got done beating me up, I got slapped with a VPO a couple months later. Apparently I was now stalking her... While the charges were dismissed with prejudice, I had to hire an attorney to motion for them to be expunged.
When I made her leave I wasn't there for her getting her things. She stole the batteries out of everything electronic. All the clothes hangers. Probably $200 worth of toilet paper, paper towels and laundry soap. Put some kind of plant that she called "our love fern" (it was bamboo :wtf: ) down the garbage disposal. Also she crushed up a box of Pop-tarts in the non-disposal side of my kitchen sink. The sick ***** even took the ice cube trays.
I personally couldn't give a **** less about your phone or how much you baby your electronics. Kudos that it still works, but the phone is only a few hundred dollars to replace. Move on before it gets worse...and more expensive.
