Are you ever going to learn that this isn't the general forum?
Moved to proper forum.

There is a link it's called droid X2 general under motorola droid x2 and its just as easy to click/post as the development forum

At this point i'll take anything debloated and deodexed. Gingerbread is nice too.

Would you care to explain what deodexed means? I've seen term used a few times lately and I have no idea what that means...

Deodex is about removing the odex file that is attached to the OEM files. This allows for modularity regarding themes and roms.

Why not head over to the xda Bionic forum yourself and ask a user to upload it somewhere?
EDITED FOR UNNECESSARY RUDENESS
I will not be home until tomorrow, but if you still need it then I can upload it for you.

I think the point L2 was making is that it would be just as easy for you to do as it would be fore someone else.

They might FC like mad but shouldn't kill it completely. Make sure you backup everything and don't go deleting things right off the bat and you should do just fine!
[sent from my blurless DX2]
Try It...
let us know if it works and what the differences are if any?
I'm gonna try it later on..got the dump downloaded on the phone..appreciate it

Rename your current camera to camera.bak, push this to system.app, change permissions. Reboot. I'll go do it now...

im using the atrix 2.3.4 port rom right now and i really like that camera, since its the blur camera. Is the Bionic camera really different?

I played with a bionic at a store the other day. I can't remember if it's different or not.

I hate having to post in development because nobody that devs sees it. I'll put it in the themes and apps section.

Someone attempted this before
It got nowhere, just force closed no matter what they tried
I bet we need something in the kernel for it

oh, guess the "can we use" threw me off.
I asked about this back when the Bionic first got released, I was nicely told to do it myself if I wanted it, doubt it's gonna happen.
Eclipse uses the newer camera app. I know it works for that reason.

you can try this and see if it works.

Google Now

Check out HTC Sensation theme and app thread. Google now will work on RAZR ics .211. With exception of voice search. But its a start and looks awesome can't wait until its fully functional.

With the minor issue of non-working voice commands/recognition.. For now that is
Might be a dumb question since I'm new at this but can just install the apk for google now that was posted on the other thread and install it on my stock razr or do i need to root it first?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda app-developers app
I just tried to install it but it didn't work. Do i need to be rooted?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda app-developers app
You need to be rooted, but Google just releases android 4.1 source, so a Jelly Bean build is in the works I'm sure. I would just be patient, it'll come soon enough

Yeah but we saw how long it took to get ICS ready for the razr. I doubt we get it before Christmas. You think with Google buying Motorola they would be the first to get anything after the nexus line of phones
