Now I attached a working SystemUI.apk with toggles on first post
So you can fully use the preview version
The phone model has been changed to MT27i.
I think it is may be build.prop error
---------- Post added at 08:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:56 AM ----------
I copy the systemui.apk to system/app folder, and install quickpanelsettings.apk.
However, the Statusbar toggles do not displayed.
And the quickpanelsettings.apk designed on 800*480, not suit to 960*540

I already know about build.prop, fixed it already for next release
And the quickpanelsettings app isn't designed for 960*540 yes, about the systemUI.apk, did you give it the right permissions?

BTW, I want to change the font and so on, thus i want to know how to unpack/repack the img file.
is there any tutorials?
thank you.
When copying a movie into the phone, I found that it seems to have a space limit for user's files, that means the user cannot use the entire 16GB of storage, it is possible to fix this? Thanks.

This can't be fixed, how much space is there available for you?
Keep in mind that the /system and /data partition are also in the 16GB and they are both 1GB

The phone seems to have about 1GB of user accessible space. At that time I put a file of 1GB into the phone without issue, then I tried to put another 700MB file, but it says it ran out of space.

You can unlock a unlocked bootloader
But when you buy it from a carrier usually is blocked .Here in spain we got the mobile from a carrier almost free, so when you see someone from spain 99% he has a locked bootloader.

No status bar? WTF? I think it's a must have thing, I'll be waiting a release.
Battery life?
See my mom has an Xperia U, she only uses it for calling and texting, she don't even have a Google Acc, but she's always complaining about the battery life (not very surprising since she had a nokia before! ).
Is it worth rooting, and unlocking bootloader just to flash this for better battery?

btw who rates my Xperia Sola, P and U thread so low? I'm the only one making time for these new devices.
Please don't rate the threads low because progress is going slow, it's not easy to make a rom in system.img format, it takes a lot of time and I needed to learn some new things to make everything work
If you don't like my work just don't visit my threads and keep your rating for yourself, seeing bad rates can be anti motivating for some people

Faulty Aroma updater script
Will try this, 5 min till downloaded. What's the changelog compared to stock? build.prop tweaks, removed bloat, root etc., I'd guess. Does it have UI mods or something like that? Could provide a CM9 style statusbar... If you'd want that.
That's the statusbarmod down below this
Edit: IT WORKS! note to everyone
actually good i did that. Got a cwm backup in the progress and also flashed InfinitySoundXperience. Here's the CM9 STYLE (close but not the real one): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32346437&postcount=2
I see a lot of bloat around, you should delete them so the user wouldn't have to manually do so. Still waiting for changelog.
P.S.
hmm... can't get root to work will try bin4ry's method
P.P.S.
It works now

Yes, I did it after flashing the rom and before flashing the kernel. You can also just flash a GB recovery (e.g. u.elf) and then CWM flash any ics file that you think would work (Xperia P stuff) and then flash stock (kernel) back so you can actually boot. A working CWM, that you can't use anywhere but have to be home/ at a computer. Everyone take a note of this. And yes, InfinitysoundXperience works, not much effect though as the ics already updated the sound a lot.
