Hey friends,
I am having a query....
Frnds some games like GTA III , NFS Shift requires some additional data to be downloaded...
Now suppose i have downloaded nfs shift and then also downloaded its additional data...
Now i want send NFS to my frnd via bluetooth just like other apps and games...
But only the original (without additional data) is only being sent...
So how can i send that adfitional data????
please help me guysss...

download archidroid from market then compress the data using it. after compressing u can now send it via bluetooth to your friend..

But I m telling that when i send the app then it is only sending the app which is originally downloaded and not that additional data along with it....
So if u knw where that additional data is stored in my sdcard then please tell me....

it's located on sdcard/data (my files/data) or it's on sdcard/android/data (myfiles/android/data)

Actually I dint know to do a nandroid backup!!!!!!
use skin1980 cwm,place this cwmzipfile on your sd card,go in recovery mode apply update from sd,click on cwm zipfile,in cwm go on backup-restore and make a nandroid backup,thats it.

seriously. you will reinstall rom just to get some MB game data ? nandroid backup is whole rom backup.

use my app sharer <--- not sure if it's the exact name
i think it has this feature to send app + data
you can give it a try
no point of creating nandroid backup
first you need to know the package name of the app
like com.gameloft.sghm if you know this name then just head to /sdcard/android and search for the folder with that name and select the select and compress it then send it with Bluetooth and extract it to exact place in your friend's mobile
install the all and you are good to go

i changed my ROM so in new ROM when i installed both games, it asks me to download again...i dnt want to waste the Bandwidth so can any1 please tell me how to bind these data files with their games?????

when run sixguns it looking for files in sdcard/android/data/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftSXHM and data/data/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftSXHM folder. In ur case some files in second folder missing including save files because changing rom. Downloadable files in second folder about under 10MBs.

Just the apps without the rom ? Nandroid backup will backup your entire phone's state if thats enough

I only backs up the apk file bt nt the app data

Thx for understanding guys but Im gonna have to ask you guys to wait for a while.. Apparently my hostels network bridge died so no netfor three days.. I'll try to post with gprs tonight but signal is low here so you might have to wait till tomorrow, when I can reach neighboring hostel but here's an idea, just open up my Rom zip and there's a file called updater-script somewhere inside META-INF folder... Open with Notepad++, and see what you can make of it ill explain in detail tomorrow

how did you combine the launcher with the data? i have tried a app the created a zip and the made a folder and added the launcher and then the zip data but i think im doing it wrong. i know when i used an emulator it opened what ever game threw there but i dont know what i doing with this. i got to my downloads and see the data (117mb) right nexxt to the launcher (36mb). how do i get the two together so when i start the game it does not ask for me to download the 117mb from google store, then tell me the version is not compliable. can you or anyone please help??
Install the APK, extract the 117mb zip file into OBB folder and run the game.

how do i open the obb folder? i know how to make and extract the zip but i cant find a way into the other file. like it wont open passed running the launcher. how do i get to where i extract the data? thanks man i appreciate the help alot.

copy folder com.naturalmotion.csrracing to sdcard>android>obb> inside obb folder <
if u dont have obb folder just create it...install apk...launch game n enjoy it :good:

Let's say I want to flash a new ROM.
Will flashing a new ROM delete my game's data too? Will I have to download it again?

I dont think it will detele data and obb files cause whenever i flash new rom /SDCARD/ANDROID/DATA and /SDCARD/ANDROID/OBB folders remains same and same storage available BEFORE and AFTER rom .....
But i suggest u to copy obb files to pc and do TITANIUM BACKUP of game's apk ...and then flash ROM ....

Nope...unless you format your SD card...the best way to keep those files from deleting by installer is just rename it...add any letter at the end on Real Racing data folder or in obb folder (for other games)....install Real Racing then just rename back the folder to its original....no need to use Titanium backup for it since all data of the games are in SD...

It is titanium backup of that app... If the above method does not work (it should work), install titanium backup, unzip this file to titanium backup folder and restore it from the app.

You Can some System Apps delete without root.
Compass, mirror and Remote control.
You Can test it.
And i had deleted in a mistake the Remote control.

I test the link, but when i open the apk it shows me an parsing failur.

I thought of one way. A bit cumbersome. Make a backup of all your data and apps using Huawei hisuite.
Do a 3 button reset of your phone using dload, update.app and restore your data and apps.
not sure if factory rest will restore missing apps !. give it a try ! =)

i remember in moto g and i guess u was having it . after factory reset some apps came back into stock . trying to remember to be sure but am not !

Yeah , they are in OEM and cust folders .
More over they are in dlapp folder too .
If u delete their respective folders .they never appear back after a factory reset
