Instructions
+.Install the zip via CWM
(For aosp roms install non xperia stock fw addon.zip via cwm after installing the main zip,get it from update 6 mediafire folder)

This is not a flashable zip, okay? I don't want to be blamed if your phone went bonkers.
Download and it extract it. Then paste the CredentialManagerService.apk to system/app and set the right permissions.
Then put libdrmtestengine.so to system/lib/drm and again, set the right permissions.
After all that REBOOT. Viola! You can now download music info again.
It works only for locked bootloaders. This worked for me since mine is locked. I still don't know if it works for unlocked bootloaders. Try it.

It don't happen all the time,only some times that error comes
so yeah if album art is not visible install it as a normal app in top of the current app

before posting the zip I tested it on both 4.0.3 & 4.0.4 newly flashed fw's & it worked fine on both.And worked fine on stock based miui ics too
so you must be doing something wrong

do you have sensme info added to id3 tags ? you have to transfer mp3 files to sdcard using sony media go software to get sensme data added automatically to mp3's id3 tags

Every thing is working any chances to have stock music playwe icon I dont like walkmen icon in menu bar stock icon sets as well as looks good

Hi guys,
I wanna thank Bakabon19 for his hard work.
If any one wants Facebook 2.0 + xperia app [By Bakabon19 ] on their gingerbread rom then Try this trick.
I tried this on GingerCruzt, GingerXperia, Stornmix, Xgin, GingerDX, kuyadroid, linuxperia, Froyopro, Froyobread etc
1) download Facebook 2.0 + xperia app [By Bakabon19 ] from his thread.
Thread is....HERE......
2) Now give him a big thank.
3) then via PC/Laptop right click on downloaded zip
4) And select explore
5) Inside zip, now go to system folder
6) and delete build.prop
7) after that goto framework folder
8) delete framework-res.apk
9) copy remaining zip to sdcard
10) flash zip via CWM recovery and reboot.
11) Now using Root Explorer go to /system/apps
12) scroll down and select Sony Ericsson Facebook.apk and install it.
Now you have done it.
Note:
Incase if you found no Timescape widget in widget menu then
1) download attachment
2) And via root explorer go to /system/apps
3) paste attachment widget there
4) select permissions like this

I am using Stornmix And before your trick my phone was soft bricked while installing that.
But now its perfect & timescape works for me via attachment widget.

Yes, I tried this also in GDX v21.
This works. But for this you need to edit build.prop.
May be I will edit and attach it.

Have you flashed the zip from Bakabon's thread or not. ?
If widget is there in widget menu and nothing happend if you tap on it then I am sure you have not Flashed the zip.
Just Flash it for working timescape and Facebook inside Xperia v2.0

i done everything. deleted build.prop and framework-res.apk and flash zip. but widget don t want to appear on my homescreen

Problem is due to build.prop.

Add these lines in build.prop

To add these lines
1. open ROOT EXPLORER.

Any other possible solution?
My contacts and phone are getting screen cut off also. Maybe because of framework? How to fix?

only if it was indicated this was only for GB i wouldn've had to flash my ICS again..

oh i can access that. my problem is when i click "edit album art button" then choose "Download from network" it says "unknown error. could not dowload."

There is another way to get sense me added to all of mp3 files,move all the music to phone via Sony Media Go and it will automatically add sense me to id3 tag permanently

oh nice discovery, thanks anyway about going back to 10 presets. sorry cuz i dont know about this. when i flashed this zips i contains only 10 presets by default? maybe you flashed some mods to make it 15? and about clearbass to make sure it is working. use earphones and you can hear the diferrence while adjusting...

thnx man..... i have been looking for this for a long time....everything works like a charm although havent tried the fb likes & play on device thing.....but dont really need em so cant really care...

walkman app works in aokp,so I assume it will work on cm9 too
for equalizer u can use dsp manager in aokp/cm9
but soundenhancements & tageditor/sensme don't work in aokp

Some sony widgets are only usable in sony home file,sorry but there is nothing i can do to make em work in other launchers mate.Best you can do is use Xperia home ported for other roms

those doesn't matter that much,sound quality is great and almost like with clear bass

not working
after reinstall via root explorer in neo ics 4.0.4 it is not working... after installing via clockworkmod it was working good except album art. then i try to deleted semcmusic and added semcmusic app via rootexplorer and changed permissions... and restarted .. i can't find app in my launcher then i reinstall via clockworkmod still i can't find walkman.. so i installed old semcmusic that came in stock ics.. any help..?

Beg to differ on that one ;-)
Sound is better than stock, but not like using clearbass, what we need is the uuid of libclearbasswrapper.so, we can then load that via /etc/audio_effects.conf, instead of using bundlewrapper for bass, so it would work even if it didn't display the name.
Have done the same for srs

uploading finished,tomorrow morning upload speed was unusually very low :/
anyway about comparison to power amp no idea tbh cos last I used power amp was January 2012

If u are saying the player stops play randomly, suggest u turn the repeat function to "repeat all", otherwise it might stop playing after the current one ends.

no. it happens even in the start of the playlist. when I press next track it just doesn't move at all

Was there a FBMusicLike.apk in the cwm package? Because it's associated with the music player and needs to be replaced, too.

Oops, what i said was true for GB when i used the Xperia S player, so i thought it was the same with Walkman app on ICS.
I recently updated to ICS though and it was enough for me to just copy the files of Xperia S player.
Not so sure anymore if FBMusicLike.apk will solve the problem.

This is not a flashable zip, okay? I don't want to be blamed if your phone went bonkers.
Download and it extract it. Then paste the CredentialManagerService.apk to system/app and set the right permissions.
Then put libdrmtestengine.so to system/lib/drm and again, set the right permissions.
After all that REBOOT. Viola! You can now download music info again.
It works only for locked bootloaders. This worked for me since mine is locked. I still don't know if it works for unlocked bootloaders. Try it.

All works perfect...except some minor change you make (all the blue stuff) like the progress bar of the music widget are not change still white...the sound enhancement and walkman player are not the same like in the screen shot...hope you make fix this for mdpi devices...

I tried it on LWW over MiniCMSandwich... it disabled one speaker!! Only one speaker is working if i install this MOD.........

First of all this is ONLY for stock rom
I cannot test it fully and make it works fully on your devices without a device in hand
Someone with 4.0.4 stock rom installed test this and tell me everything works or not on LWW
if xloud is not working good upload these files from stock rom(reflash the stock rom again I guess,I need fresh files not my ones )
