I disagree.
It would be nice to see a place where we can all jump into a tangent conversation about something real time without clogging threads or going into FB, Gchat, etc. There have been several times I can see this useful.
I understand the point of everyone seeing topics, but it would be nice to be able to jump into a forum for fixes and real time communication aside from development questions in the thread

To send an invite... Hit the plus sign CIRCLE in the lower right side of screen (like you are creating a new email) then click "invite" and enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
If you do not have the invite option.. uninstall inbox and reinstall.. that worked in my case.
I have a few spare invites to share, quote this post if you would like one

Hahaha yeah looks it.
No offense, but why don't people use Hangouts over Whatsapp. Whatsapp requires handing out your phone number. Hangouts doesn't. You can just create a G+ group for everyone to join and all you have to do is add that group to your hangouts app. That way no one's personal info gets handed out.

Actually, I thought about the same thing but the number of people who use Discord is less. I made WhatsApp and Telegram groups cause the user base is already strong there and won't be much of a hassle for people who want to join.

Ah right. See, I'm not actually sure what the usage of Discord is among XDA members which is why I thought it could be a good idea.
Personally, I'm in a bunch of Discord channels (mainly ones which are synced to Twitch channels) and they have a lot of people using them. Hopefully the number of people using it will increase in time though because it's definitely a great option as a spot to hangout with each other
