I presume the SGS3 is USB V2 rather than the newer USB 3.0?
There is no USB storage mode. You only get MTP and PTP. So no USB 3 on the S III :-(

just enable Development Mode in the settings of SGS2 - then whenever it is USB connected, you see it as locally connected USB storage in Windows Explorer.

I am currently running unnamed rom and just bought an adapter to plug in USB devices to my phone, but my USB keyboard is not working, flash drives are, any ideas on what I'm doing wrong???

Hey guys i bought a USB adapter for my GT-P3110. When I plug in a pendrive it indeed says a USB drive was connected but i cant seem to find the USB folder to access the files. Where does it show up? I've searched everywhere..Thanks

OP I believe you are referring to an otg usb. If so, you probably have stock ROM 4.1.x. Samsung disabled otg support at least for p3113. I had to use a custom ROM like sungsonic hd. I lost IR blaster support but I use otg more often. I suggest you do same.
