I almost forgot to use my 50$ BB card, because they never gave me one...
For pre-ordering the EVO, you're supposed to get 50$ BB card. My EVO was shipped to my residence, not the store. I am not sure if it is the same with others that dealt with Bestbuy, but they haven't contacted me in any way to redeem such a gift card. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it was not shipped to a Bestbuy store for pickup?? I am going to Bestbuy this evening and plan to use the 50$ toward the Otterbox case, they better honor it which they are still offering new EVO LTE purchasers- and I'm taking my receipt with me.
Maybe I missed something?
And... what did you buy with your 50$?

I would absolutely be fighting that because
1) its a promotion which you agreed on when purchasing it
2) its still a valid promotion online
and 3) that crawls all over me
Go back to the store and fight for your 50$.
When I went to pick it up they had a sign saying that it was canceled because of the delay.

When I picked up my phone at Best Buy last Thursday, they applied the $50 Freedom discount, the $50 gift card discount, and the $50 trade-in of my old original EVO to my new EVO 4G LTE upgrade. I walked out of the store with the new phone, case + holster, Rocketfish car charger (needed new one) and Zagg HD shield for $94 and some change.
Make sure you get your $50 gift card. I think I do remember reading something where it said that it would be emailed to you in 2 - 3 days.
I just pre ordered today ti said I should still get the 50 gc as promotion is running to June 3.

I believe I saw the sign you are referring to when I pick up my EVO. I read it and the wording was confusing to me, so I asked about it. What I was told was that it was in reference to the planned launch date of 5/18 that was presented in last weeks flyer and not the $50 gift card offer. The offer was only mentioned as to provide a reference to the specific ad... or so I was told.
I was also told that I would receive my $50 gift card via e-mail in a few days, but I have not seen anything as of today. I will probably call them tomorrow if I don't get anything by then.

Ya that happened to me. I am guessing that I went out of order and picked up my phone early. So I got the email saying to come pick up my Evo LTE, but was out of town with no service. Once I got into a service area I seen 3 emails from BB saying pickup, reminder and now cancelled, lol

I preordered online on may 7. Shipped out on the 24. Receiving them today. Got the gift card email last night. You might have to contact them about it.
Yeah so I went back to my best buy this morning and got my 50 dollar gift cards they sent them to me in the email got them 30 minutes later. funny thing is if I didn't ask they wouldn't have given them to me and they acted surprised when I told him there was this gift card.

I was able to put my office address in for the shipping address.
Oh well, I guess it will go to my mother's. I never updated my address since I moved and she's always home. Quick drive on Wed (I hope) and it should be all good.
I ordered 2. One for my dad and myself. I hope to god it gets here before Friday since I will not be home at Friday but at the airport picking up my dad. Crosses fingers.

I have $75 in Radio Shack coupons and gift cards and I really can't think of anything but this phone that I want from there. Still the thought of getting it a couple days early is making me seriously consider saying screw it and ordering from Sprint anyway.

I ordered in store and was told an email would go out when it is ready for pick up. I called the store yesterday in the hopes that I could pick it up early... They have the Gnote but will not be releasing any until Sunday. ARGH!! I want my note. LOL

this doesn't make sense to me. AT&T and Best Buy get their phones at the same time yet we have to wait until after it's available at the stores and those who ordered from AT&T already got theirs. At least ship it so I get it the same day it's available at the store.
You people are acting like this is a huge surprise that they won't let you get it now. We have a CONTRACT with At&t to not sell until Sunday. You all knew this when You preordered. To the people complaining about them not shipping in Sunday, well looks like YOU made the dumb decision to not just go pick it up in stores.

I'm glad I ordered through Best Buy... I just went to an AT&T store during lunch to ask if they have received any Notes in yet because I wanted to see one just to see how big it actually was. I haven't held one yet, just have seen pictures. I saw a rep walking toward me and I asked him if they had received any yet and he said no, to which I said that it surprised me... He then told me that it was supposed to be released this spring! I, rather sarcastically, replied that it was going to be released on Sunday, then walked out the door.

Has anyone preordered their Evo from Radio Shack? Either online, or in-store? Preordered mine in-store (same place I preordered my OG Evo). The customs hold really fubar'ed this launch.
I did and spoke with 2 different local stores today and they both told me they had a "webmail" today saying they'd have phones to cover the pre orders tomorrow. I called 2 stores because the one I preordered from had zero info before today but I was suprised when they also knew what was going on and that my phone would be delivered to them by FedEx between 10 and 11. They did also mention they were only selling the pre orders until the official launch had happened. I guess I'll know tomorrow if they were right but the girl I talked to at one of the stores read me the communication she called the "webmail", so I'm confident it willl be there.

I guess if true we will hear something tomorrow. I spoke with the manager at the one I'm dealing with, and he mumbled something about a webmail as well. He was very vague as to what it was about. I'm a regular customer there (only place that sells electronics parts, and solder in the area). Hopefully he'll do me right.

Yeah just enough for pre orders, so if there is a pixel out or something we are **** outta F ing luck. This whole situation was handled like ****. If nobody pre ordered at that store, then they are getting 0 in. You gotta either wait until launch day, or go from radio shack to radio shack trying to find an eVo that was pre ordered than canceled.

Got mine at 4:30 today... Apparently according to the store manager I was the only person to pickup their pre-order (they had several pre-orders but when they tried to contact these folks no one has responded). So they may have several phones available.
got my phone today aswell, radioshack called me and the first thing they told me is that I would be the first one in my city to get it lol..not even the sprint retail store had it..and when i traded lines(because the upgrade was from my dad) the guy took the phone to the back to show his boss and some employes haha

Got my phone on the 25th and I was that store's only pre-order. I also got a free 32gb SD card with it. They gave me a choice of a $25 accessory and the funny thing was is that I HAD to spend all of it to get the free accessory. So I snagged a SD card that was 20% off with the purchase of the phone, but that didn't reach $25 so I snagged a 3' 3.5mm audio cable for in the truck. I thought it was a pretty nice deal.
Just ordered mine through Staples.com as they started taking preorders on 32 gig Nexus 10 only today .Can't wait !Sad news is 17-27 of Dec . for arrival ! O well late Xmas better then a longer wait maybe from google .

Yeah the Play Store is going to have stock well before then. When the Nexus 7 sold out they also quoted the same 3 week timeframe but in a week and a half they were back up and running.
They don't have the 32 gig one and just 16 gig .again I can't touch till Xmas (gf rules lol) .it doesn't bother me waiting and still have my galaxy Tab to hold me over till then

hope you're right, might try to stop in to Staples tomorrow and see what they have to say.
so now instead of 17-24 days the Staples website says 28-32 business days, thats 6 WEEKS!
So I ordered on Saturday. Now my order status has changed to cancelled. I called staples and they said this is the way they handle pre-sale items. Basically we are just being put on a waiting list. A second order number will be created once they get stock and we won't actually get the product until after we receive a phone call from staples verifying that we are still interested. Only then will the order be placed.
Can anyone who also went this route check their order status to see if it also says cancelled?

Grrr!! Mine has been cancelled as well Not sure now whether to reorder or forget it....
Update: Just reordered... Now Expected delivery date is 01/10/2013!!!! I hope Google gets more 32gigs available at the Playstore or Walmart gets stock before then.
Update:haha I didn't fully understand your post until now. I just cancelled my new order and also called to confirm that my original order was still in place which it is. So still cosher

Same thing happened to me, too. If I can find the N10 anywhere else, I'll buy from there and call to truly cancel my order with Staples.
When i called about my order the lady said I'm still good .My preorder said it originally at the latest arrive Dec 27 .The cancelled order showing will be replaced with the actual shipment order when they get the tablet.first she said 6 weeks then she "wait your order will arrive at your place Dec 15th ."I ordered mine the day they started preordering .

I was told when I contacted staples is that the schedualed delivery is just a rough estimate. We can expect to receive it before or on the date stated.

I've learned that some retailers will say anything to seal the deal with your money. I saw the Google Play option as an opportunity to get the device in my hands faster. =)

I ordered from Staples 2 days back. Ordered 16GB on Nov 16th, received today on 20th and again ordered 32GB today on Google Play. Once it is shipped I will cancel the Staples order. Wondering what to do with the 16GB

Just picked up my OG on Friday from the local AT&T store. When I looked at the price card under the display it said ask an associate about your $50 accessories credit.
So I did and he told me with the OG I got $50 of free accessories. So I got the bumper case and a 4 pack of NFC tags.
When I got the receipt, the promo code actually knocked the phone down to $149 and I paid for the accessories.
Probably going to take the case back and see if I can get a refund.

They will but you may have to argue a bit with them like I did today. I first called 611 and the woman had no idea about it but game me a $25 credit to my account after I spent 10 minutes trying to explain what was going on to her. Then I headed to the at&t store to ask them about it I spoke with the first rep who was not so helpful but he got his manager, I explained that I bought my phone on the 8th of November and that when I bought it they had no accessories and that I would like my free ones. Took about 5 minutes of talking to her but she finally gave in after I showed her my receipt to prove I didnt get it when I bought the phone.
I also told her that since I was still in my 14 day return period I would just return it and head over to best buy and buy it for for $99 but would rather just have the accessories I should have got from the get go as it is finally set up the way I want it.
